I main mid, and honestly I just LOVE burst champions, it's so satisfying to see someone disappear so fast. Also, who are some hard mid lanes? If I don't go with a burst champion, I like a satisfying hard champion. Thanks guys!

has amazing burst with that true damage ult. His lane phase is a bit of a struggle if you're against someone like Ziggs or Xerath that can continuously poke you down, but he excels against assassins due to his long duration silence and disengage Q (e.g. against Zed, if he ever ults you, just Q before he reappears behind you, silence him, then walk away).
is an underplayed mid laner that takes a fair amount of skill to master. Not only does his ult single-handedly win teamfights, but the burst is absolutely enormous against squishies. It's also rather amusing to watch mages struggle against his nigh-invulnerability after getting 1 or 2 items.
Then there's 
, who can literally 100-0 someone almost instantly. She has an extremely safe laning phase, but struggles to cs under turret. Not only that but her skillcap is one of the highest when it comes to assassins, however a well-played LeBlanc is truly terrifying.

His burst can be quirky to get out, but he's a hard and satisfying champ to master. Is pretty safe during ganks because most junglers are afraid of him, he just turns them into double kills most of the time.
almost always does the highest damage dealt in the game. Her AOE burst is insane, but she's extremely squishy. She's difficult to master with her plants and how to use them effectively is tricky.
has great burst, a heal (high mana cost tho), and a jump to get out. Her difficulty lies in hitting her long range Q poke. I always take great satisfaction in killing someone with a Q, especially in ARAM. It's so funny.

People without knowledge will say otherwise, but I don't think any mid laner takes as much dedicated time to learn when it comes to higher ranks then her in terms of climbing.
