Can you stop reworking the jungle?

This is ridiculous. Since ive started playing in 2013 ive had to relearn the jungle twice already. Now im going to have to do it a third time? I'd be ok with this, but it seems like jungle is the only role that has to deal with this on a recurring basis.

The laners just have to deal with champ/meta shifts, not their entire role/lane being reworked. Make the minions lane specific or something, and make bot lane go thru the jungle, put one camp on the other side of it... it could be wraiths! leave the chickens next to mid, and put the wraiths below bot lane... and have mid lane zig zag so that it runs parallel to the river for a bit, then make top tower and the minions in it unable to be tele'd to, or something. Make them relearn how to play their role.

I understand some of that may be unreasonable, but come on. Why is it every season we need some jungle rework or change, with every two seasons it being so drastic that jungle mains need to relearn the role? Why don't the people who main lanes ever have to deal with this? The same adc's have been decent/good for years. Bot lane has almost always been a supp adc, mid almost always has a burst or cc machine. Top i'll give some credit to, as almost everything can be taken top, but still, the "meta/staple" for it hasn't shifted in forever. Its still usually a tank/bruiser or some cheesy ranged champ that can abuse bruisers, sometimes an assassin, or a superfarmer. Nasus and teemo have been in top meta forever.

Cause a major shake up somewhere else please.

edit: sorry about the ranting, but seriously. If you want to stop powerfarming junglers, nerf their ability to clear.

Also, making respawn timers on camps 50 seconds longer is just going to help champs that have a strong invade potential or good clear speeds even more.

The jungle changes affect more than just the jungler. It completely change how ganks are going to happen. With jungler being able to heal themselves with green plants and jump over walls with red, you will see junglers gank when they normally wouldn't have because the champion didn't allow for a gank after red buff. Everyone is affected by the jungler, any change made for them will affect everyone else. Dragons changes were more vital for bot and mid lane than it was for the jungler has it massively shifted how important or not it was to set up the dragon depending on which one would spawn, it also made gank patterns sporadic. Baby baron was a major change for top lane as an enemy laner with baby baron buff would just crush his lane opponent. The scuttlers? They are one of the most important vision factor for laners, especially the dragon scuttler.

Changes like that may seems small, but for anyone experienced enough to understand their value, they are massive changes that will affect how one would play.

The scuttle change I agree with. and the dragon changes to a degree, though I don't really like more rng being introduced into the game. rift herald just sorta solidifies a lead though, it doesn't really make for a good objective to take when the teams are even.

I don't like RNG either, that's why I'm skeptical about the plants being random (I heard they were random at least). Rift Herald is more than just solidifying a lead. If you know the enemy jungler is doing Herald, Dragon become an opportune target which affects bot and mid lane as much as the jungle. If the Herald is being done, the bot lane and mid lane can push hard and fast to force a Dragon for their team. Not only that, but losing the Herald also put more pressure top side which changes how much ganks will happens bot or mid side of the map for both teams. A jungler will have to help their top lane more often against a Herald buff or will have more freedom to roam bot or mid if their top has the safety of the lead and Herald buff. It can also remove the pressure that was there from a losing top lane if you get the Herald for your top.

Almost everything a jungler does will affect the rest of the team, so whenever they change the jungle path, the clear speed, jungle respawn timers, camps, etc. it will affect a laner by how and when ganks will happen, when they can push, when they should play safe, when they should secure an objective and the list goes on.

As a Support main, I can almost predict when and where a jungler will gank by where I saw them on the map last and which champion they have. I place my wards to reflect that. Should my pink be in the small bush between mid lane and dragon or should I have it next to my lane? Should I ward my jungle or focus on the river and their jungle? Should we push to be able to help our jungler if we have reason to believe the enemy jungler will invade? All of those questions requires me to think about what a jungler would do depending on the current iteration of the jungle.

It honestly has very little impact on jungle this season, with the exception of getting used to plants. Otherwise it takes about two games to get used to everything else.

The jungle respawn timers being longer make counterjungling an infinitely stronger strategy. Also the removal of smite buffs changes things quite a bit.
