Maxing E on Miss Fortune makes the difference.

I've been trying out a new build with Miss Fortune, maxing E with Thunderlord's Decree. And goodness it really works. The last few games, my friend and I were duoing botlane and we single handedly just stomped the heck out of the other laners and everyone that attempted to gank us.

The fact that it has 1000 range (I think) with a terrifyingly powerful slow, and a fairly nice chunk of damage, especially taking into consideration that a single shot of "Make it Rain" procs thunderlord's decree in a single shot, which instantly leaves them open to auto attacks or a Q. Or a stun from your support.

Having tested it with Sona and Bard, it's a freakishly disgustingly combo. Especially when you consider that if you Ult after your E, chances are that they'll be so slowed that they'll ether have to flash, or risk dying or taking way too much damage to stay in lane.

Maxing your E also gives yourself a nice bit of peel for the jungler that comes in, allowing you to ether turn on the jungler, or just walk away safely.

It's a really really strong build and frankly I think it's certainly better than maxing Q first. Of course, wiping out someone's health in a single Q after bouncing it off a minion is also really good, but TBH I feel like this is more efficient overall. Think of it like this, if you max your Q and you somehow get yourself wrecked in lane, you can still be pretty useful since your E at max rank is a 60% slow, which allows for your teammates to grab an easy pick, allowing you to simply crawl yourself back to a more useful positioning.

I'm open for suggestions. If you Miss Fortune mains haven't tried this, I really would like it if you guys could test it out and see the difference for yourself.

If you do try this build, I would suggest you bringing a support that can ether burst with your thunderlord, or set you up with slows and/or stuns. So probably like, Sona or Bard, Leona, maybe Braum, Nautilus. Even Lulu.

Lemme know what you guys think...

(And if everyone was already maxing E first to begin with, consider me an idiot :D )

I played against this recently. It was... interesting.

You are right. The slow is good. The damage can be pretty good if they don't move quick enough. The harass can really screw up the enemy adc's farming. But I think can is the key word. It provides more safety yes, but the damage actually done will really depend on who the enemy support is. If it is a non-sustain/shield support it will be a problem for the enemy adc. If it's a Soraka she will just out heal it. Simple as that. The other healers will to a lesser extent. If it is a Janna, she will just shield it off everytime you use E and you will run out of mana long before she does. Granted it will out damage her E, but it will absorb enough assuming her adc moves out of the ability as soon as s/he can.

The ability is fairly predictable and because it is DoT and it will be used in similar intervals because of Thunderlord's CD. So it gives the enemy support time to react before the majority of the damage is received and Thunderlords can only proc once. The slow is nice but I don't think it is worth it if the damage isn't done.

I would think that you would all most HAVE to take some AP SOMEWHERE in the runes/masteries. And then from what i'm getting at is that you max Q last? This may work but at the same time i think that she does better with more AD in her stuff than AP. + taking thunder lords you will lose out on the heals from the other one in the 1st tree Man i can't remember anything in the new masteries O_o. Ill go try this out RN and ill lets you know how i do

What I normally do is take Q first, then E and W. Max E, then Q. Your Q is still super effective at harrassing if you kill a minion with it, even at level 1.

Also, you're not building an AP MF. You're still building her AD. :o

These are the runes and masteries I use on her. I'm open to suggestions on a better rune page.

I know your not going AP MF :P but her E damage isn't really that strong. And i know that Q is SUPPER good but.... Your losing out on a large amount of attack speed by maxing Q 2ed

Thanks for trying it out! :o

14/12... hmm...

It's definitely a trade off of course. There's always pros and cons to maxing anything. I've definitely played maxing Q first and honestly, it felt like it was a slightly harder to get the killing blow. Yeah you can bully them out with tons of disgusting Q harass at a pretty safe distance.

I haven't tried going E > W > Q yet, I might try that again with my friend, to test it out.

I'm pretty sure that the overall populace is still going to max Q first.

But I do think that maxing E first does have it's own merits. Like, making it harder for junglers to gank you and other things as well.

I'm gonna keep testing this out, comparing win streaks to others.

I'll keep playing E > Q > W until I lose, then I'll swap to E > W > Q, then I'll do Q >W >E

I'll let you know the results.

I could see if you max E you play a farm/poke lane and not a farm/kill lane like i play her. Maxing E 1st does cut out on her EARLY game damage but when you hit 13 you have good damage and items to use

Note: You're still using Q for harass, especially when you use it by killing a minion and it bouncing and hitting the ADC or support. So your early game damage is still there. You're still bullying the ADC out if you're able to land your Q.

The Q damage will not chunk some one for 2/4s of their HP tho, she is an early game ADC (at lest how i play her) and by maxing E 1st it may help with the kill presure/ganks but you will lose out on damage tell you hit lev 13 and have items. You can do good damage with the Q but you HAVE to kill a minion with it to do the damage you want it to.

14/12 with a morg support. Not the best thing ever, it could work but you lose out on 60% of your damage in the early game

This is how the Korean pros play MF. It works very well.

Went 13/3/5 with support Thresh.

We had a rough start because both Twitch and Bard had Thunderlord's Decree and during the last fight, twitch flat out killed me due to his proc'ing on me when mine proc'd on Bard.

But, as soon as I came into lane, I dropped my E on twitch because he stayed too long and because he couldn't out run me, he died to a few AA's and my Q.

After that, I got a few more kills everytime thresh landed his hook, then Rammus came down.

Once I hit 6, the kills were free as heck. With the slow on your E, it's very hard for them to walk out of your ultimate. And since twitch was immobile to begin with, when I landed my E, everytime I ulted, he just melted into nothingness.

I've run this as support AP MF before, when a troll stole ADC from me, worked out quite well, i was a high speed CC machine. Wonderful for teamfights to make sure nobody can try and escape. Gnar

I should point out that if you just want to proc Thunderlord, 1 rank on E is enough. You can play Thunderlord as keystone, and still max Q first. But if what you really want is the slow, then yes max E first.

Have you tried Deathfire Touch, or are you not spamming E enough for it to be a good option?

I get it for the slow, not the damage. Even though your E with thunderlord's deals a lot of damage (when you consider how safe the range is)

Also, no I haven't tried it with Deathfire yet. I don't think the damage would even be worth it though. Of course I never tried it yet.
