Some champions are doing more than 100% penetration... and it's not healthy for the entire game

There are some champions who can actually break the whole armor and even do bonus physical damage because they break more than 100%. This is the reason why people kinda stopped stacking armors and they are building hp, even with the Bortk counters it easily and some skills deal a lot of % health. So are there going to be major penetration nerfs in tank roster? or the game is going to be same still.

That is impossible.

I'd suggest reading up on how armor penetration and reduction stacks.

I don't think you are understanding what i am saying, i played a game with black cleaver lw j4 with penetration mastery lethality, and when i q the enemy after 6 stacks black cleaver, the enemy takes 15-20% more damage from my basics or any physical damage dealt, basically i played against 240 armor braum, my q 6 stack black cleaver combo he was getting more damage from me rather than reducing it.

Percentage armor reduction and penetration stack multiplicatively, not additively.

Flat Armor Penetration (i.e. Lethality) cannot reduce a champion below 0 armor.

It is not possible reduce an opponent's armor to the point where they take amplified damage.

It just happened dude, you really don't have a point right now because it just happened i took down my enemy's armor and started dealing bonus physical damage. I don't care if its a bug or its a thing but it just happened and it definitely needs some attention because it's op

http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Armor_penetration

When attacking, armor penetration and armor reduction are considered in the following order:[2]

Armor reduction, flat
Armor reduction, percentage
Armor penetration, percentage
Lethality

The effects of armor penetration, on the other hand, are ignored once the target's effective armor drops below 0, and only the source of the armor penetration reaps the benefits.

The only way to reduce an opponent's armor below 0 (to amplify physical damage dealt) is to apply more flat armor reduction than they have armor.

IIRC, the only sources of flat armor reduction in the game are are Corki's E and Rammus' E.

You are either mistaken or a bug occurred. I'd suggest providing a video of the replay.

I had a corki mid, so that makes more sense now

after i reduced my enemy's armor by 100% he reduced his armor too so i dealt % bonus physical damage more than 100% of my damage dealt

Corki's Flat Reduction applies before percentage reduction or penetration (as I had quoted above).

Unless Corki's armor reduction alone was enough to take the target to negative armor (reduces 20 armor max at rank 5), it would have remained >= 0.

Also, you weren't reducing the opponents armor by 100%. Percentage penetration/reduction stacks muliplicatively.

do i have to say again that i just had 100% penetration? if you are just going to keep arguing then i'll take it as a bug but i just had it

Percentage armor reduction and penetration are NOT additive.

As a simple example, 50% armor reduction and 50% armor penetration would combine to reduce the opponents armor by 75%.

i understand, that means i was bugged, i'll keep an eye if it happens again to me i am going to submit a ticket about the bug

While your claim is either outright false or based on a bug, they have stated that they're looking at adjustments to penetration for midseason.
