Riot: Get rid of invisible MMR, remove promos every subdivision, and add voice chat

Riot's invisible MMR is one of the more annoying aspects of League. It seems to not matter what rank you are, it seems to have no bearing on who you'll actually end up playing with. Why is matchmaking decided by some secret formula only Riot knows and refuses to tell anyone about? What is the point of climbing if Riot's matchmaker pays more attention to short winning or losing streaks?

Speaking of climbing, I wish Riot would remove promos every subdivision, in order to climb out of a division you have to play up to 17 games which are nothing more than artificial roadblocks. You have to play up to 3 games and win 2 and don't get anything more than a title which the MMR doesn't pay attention to, but lose 2 and you're fucked and going back to 75 LP, which means you may need to win 2-3 games in order to get back to that roadblock. And if you gain LP in a division and lose a game at 0LP you'll be demoted and back to 75LP, having to climb and go through the roadblock again. Why isn't it something like collect 500LP, always gaining more LP than you lose, THEN a promo of best of 7 or 9? Also before you get demoted why don't you have some form of a probation series which you must lose in order to get demoted? It's just sudden, lose one and you've got to go on a 4-5 winning spree just to get back to where you were due to a single loss.

Lastly, League is more reliant on teamwork than any other game and is extremely complex, requiring precise coordination, yet it is the only game without voice chat. Overwatch, Call of Duty, Team Fortress, Battlefield, etc all have voice chat even though none of those really require nearly as much coordination as league, voice chat only serving as a tool to have a conversation with new people with the game in the background. However the team based League doesn't? Why? Want to know why League is so much more toxic than other games? It's due to players inability to tell each other what they want to do or in any way coordinate beyond very limited pings. Anyone would get frustrated. A low effort honor system isn't how you fix the problem, give players an opt-in voice chat so they can help each other rather than constantly looking at their teammates as a bigger roadblock to a win than the enemy team.

I really wish they would get rid of promos, it's a source of unnecessary stress in a high stress gameplay mode. Most people try to be competitive in ranks, and adding a layer of stress is unwarranted. Your rank should be tied to your MMR.

I really dislike the idea of voice chat. When i started playing Overwatch, in my very first game i heard a freakin' child speak with it's squeaky screachy voice. I immediatly went into the options and turned off voice chat. Obviously this is just my own opinion, but you could argue that adding voice chat for those that want to use it is fine, as long as you have the option to turn it of or mute players. But in a competitive game like LoL, this would turn out to be a really bad idea. What if in ranked, one team had all five players connected to voice chat, while on the other team, one, two or even none are connected to voice chat. It would give an unfair advantage to the former team. With communication limited to pings and chatbox, both team start on equal grounds.

Invisible MMR: With something the matchamking needs to determine who you play against. Remove promos: Yes it's the most frustrating thing in ranked. It's no problem to get 100lp but getting through promos where you get worse teammates is the biggest shit. Add voicechat: No thanks I don't want to hear anyone scream in my ear with their 12 years.
