PSA: Stealing jungle camps from your jungler puts them EXTREMELY far behind

Frontline Fury··3 votes·2,084 views

Its almost depressed that people still havent learnt this, all the way up in diamond. Jungle camps respawn extremely slowly and with a lot of team comps having two champions with smite, your jungler already has to compete with up to two enemy champions for their jungle camps.

PLEASE dont steal your jungler's camps - go farm in a lane instead, because your jungler relies entirely on those camps to level up and stay relevant in the game you are playing if they can't pick up kills.

It's the same principal as a jungler coming to yale lane farm as a "tax."

But when you tax a lane as a jungler, you get yelled at, and people even start inting. Infuriates me when I'm 1 level behind the midlaner, and he comes to last hit my wraths.

Taxing a lane typically means you did something worth taxing it.

Most cases i just see the jg walk into lane to take farm.

Second if you took the kill why do you need to take it? you just got 300+ gold from the gank.

If you didnt get the kill i am more then okay with giving up lane creeps to make up the gold difference.

Let me not even start on feeding my lane, does that mean i should tax your jungle if you gank my lane while i am at base and die stupidly?

All these dumb rules junglers try to put on Laners are annoying and full of double standards.

Farm is farm. I take it from anyone. The jungler, the adc, the enemy jungler, mid.

Watching a jungler leave his golems/krugs unattended to for 10 mins and not even cleared. Or the missed chance for scuttle or dragons.

Nah, I will take everything i can to help my team win.

And when you lose, you complain that your jungler is useless, right?

So much for helping your team win.

Nope. I break down each person's successes and failures. Focus on what I could of done better, and where teamwork went wrong and how I can communicate better with my team.

Wait does stealing lane farm from your laners for no reason not put us behind as well? i am confused. Sounds like a double standard to me.

I don't know about the lower elos, but in diamond junglers dont tax lanes. It's an outdated practice. And either way, minions are constantly entering the lanes - meanwhile jungle camps take one and a half minute to respawn.

It depends on the situation. For example, if you're counterjungling on the opposite side of the map and I take your gromp on my way back to lane when you move to camp bot, You're not losing anything and your camp will respawn at a higher level by the time you path up to clear it. So that helps you.

Just like if you gank my lane, force them back to base and then help me shove the wave in, taking some CS. You didn't feed me a kill or assist, so many people would say that you shouldn't tax me, but if the enemy doesn't have TP you helped me by setting up a wave bounce in my favor, denying the enemy lane CS, and gave me time to base.

Point is, sure, people shouldn't mindlessly take jungle camps or lane CS right when you were coming to get it and it's where YOU are farming. But there are plenty of reasons why someone clearing ypur camps or catching your wave is a good idea.
