It's about as an attractive buy as Doran's shield. It hurts my brain looking at it wondering how an item that was a staple in non-mobile mage's repertoire for over 6 seasons is currently nothing more than a Frost-Covered-Magic-Twig.

Aurelion Sol, Azir, and Taliyah especially use Rylia's because of the slow... Without it, they can't stick to their target.
Azir needs it to keep enemies in range of his soldiers.
Taliyah needs it to land her combos and hit all of her threaded volley.
Aurelion Sol needs it so he can hit his target with his stars consistently.
So maybe learn why Riot keeps it instead of saying they should remove it. And on tanks...Doran's shield is a decent starting item.

If Rylia's was removed, all 3 would have trouble in lane.
Aurelion Sol wouldn't be able to stay on a target and hit them with his stars.
Azir would only be able to get in 1 hit with his soldiers.
And Taliyah would have an even harder time landing her combos or her Q.

Beldair1 votesThey would all 3 need reworks to be healthy without Rylia's.. Besides, Riot will never delete such a staple AP item like Rylia's. As you noticed, they are nerfing the item so it won't be as strong.
This is just like Teemo mains complaining about the control wards because it disables their shrooms.. One item does not break a champ but with some champs, 1 item is mandatory for them to be at their true potential. Rylia's being so for many AP champs while Warmog's is key for Tanks and Juggernauts.
I don't see any of you complaining about Warmogs when it is built just as much as Rylia's and has become a staple item on Bruisers, Tanks, and Juggernauts.

these items aren't even comparable. Warmog's is just health and out-of-combat regen and it's been neutered several times in the past. Rylai's is an absurd utility item that completely throws off the balance of what champs have in their kits while also offering a more than modest stat stick for damage and survivability.
Azir is already confirmed for a rework, the other 2 need one anyway. Aurelion Sol has already proven to be a huge issue because he's a hard-counter champ who gets hard countered himself, and Riot has no clue what they want Taliyah to actually be because she went from zone mage to burst mage to dumpstered in the span of two months

As a Tank player, I have no issues with Rylia's. The slow is nominal and doesn't affect me all that much.
And all my Tank builds use Warmog's, Swifties, DMP, and Titanic Hydra. You may not use Warmog's but plenty of other people do.
Rylia's is being nerfed and won't be deleted by Riot, so deal with it.. I've yet to see any more people agreeing with him or you.. In fact, the post is being down voted.
