Does anyone else feel like blizcrank is the lee sin of supports?
Good early game and reliant on landing skillshots, but falls off late game. FYI pretty much the same reason I sigh whenever I see one on my team

You misspelled Thresh.
Oh wait you're talking about early/late game, then you're not wrong to some extent.
However, a Blitz grab late game can make teamfights 4v5 instantly, so he's not really falling off as hard.
I would say a thresh is much more useful mid to late game then blitz though, he packs a lot more utility then blitz and will become much more tankier than him as well. Throw a meat shield in front of blitz and there isn't much he can do about it while thresh still has other ways of being useful. Of course that's assuming that the thresh actually knows what he's doing
Ya, his forte kind of lies in very high kill pressure in land and early-mid game. He falls off the most when teamfights start and the enemy has a good front line that he doesn't want to grab; if they have nothing like that, he doesn't fall off as much because he can just grab whatever gets in range.
A good Blitz doesn't run away and be useless when his Q is down, though. He continues to peel with his low CD E and ruin engages with his Ult etc.
Not combo-oriented enough. Blitz is mostly about landing his rocket grope. It's not like he's got 50 options on how to use his skills before and after it.
Late game blitz's can delete squishies themselves and if they get a decent pick at the start of a teamfight then can ruin the enemy. I wouldn't say he falls off late game.
