Syndra is a joke to RIOT games
Syndra got buffed!
10 mana per level. That should fix the worst mage in the game according to some man who apparently gets paid for doing nothing in the balancing team.
10 mana per level means she gets to cast one additional Q at level 8. She has no real use of it before level 8.
I tested something. Did you guys at balancing team know, that Syndra loses 3 spell trade against a Vel'qoz with 850 gold in her favor.
It means that with 3 kills she is still behind compared to Vel'qoz and he isn't the only one.
I legitimately wonder if those people working on balance and hotfixes know where she ended up in a dumpster. I mean its their job after all. But then again it was Diatlov's job to take care of the reactor and it still exploded so who knows.
I wonder if any of those people from balance teams can be accessed by us "mortals" who just want to play a fair game. I wonder why don't they listen just a bit to people who obviously understand the issues of the game better than they do. I mean they can call us delusional but we are not the ones who fked up the reactor. You did guys. You needed almost entire season to fix the tank meta and you did it wrong. You killed the tanks, for the entirety of the next season. And you're stat forcing them back now, which is again, a horrible solution.
You needed 3 or more seasons to deal with adc being to most broken role in the game and u did it wrong and reverted it, back to square one. While solution was so simple ( take their core item
and instead of giving it instant amplification of crit, make it scale of of adc's level. GG solved.)
Everything you do, you do in a complicated way that usually solves nothing.
Same goes with Syndra. A good champ for pro play. Lane bully. Left in a grave for 20 months. Thats 40 patches where you cant patch her up.
Because you dont know where you fked up.
So in case some "red name" comes across my post ill tell you where u fked up.
Basic points 1 nerfs in season 7 instead of nerfing her you should have just added to that death recap thingy a sentence that says "did you know that
counter Syndra completely?
2. New runes. We never asked for new runes. We just wanted the old ones to be free. This change destroyed all of her pre 6 power
3. Ap item changes. This destroyed her lvl 6 and entire mid game
4. Her lategame didnt need any destruction as she gets outscaled by every other mage in the game.
But back to the runes and masteries. Among a dozen minor things that were good for her than and dont exist now is also one major thing.
Flat magic penetration that she no longer has access to as she doesn't dash/leap/stealth/jump (aka sudden impact)
Also and early game mage that used to start with 40 ap is considerably weaker now when she starts with 20 ap.
So instead of 10 mana per level or whatever you had in mind for the season 10 when you realize that still no one plays her,
maybe you can just add flat magic penetration to her passive. And make it scale of of her ultimate.
level 1 10 magic pen
level 6 15
level 11 20
level 16 25
there you go. Champion fixed.
She will still be the easiest champ to kill in all of league.
She will still get outscaled just not from level 1.
She still wont ever touch S tier becuase her design wont allow her. But at least she wont be permanently the worst mage in the game.
giving Syndra ANY flat pen will make building merc treads useless and would force another form of tax (like skarner with QSS)
