Season 9 is about to start and Syndra still isn't a champion

I wrote this in the preseason of season 8 and now i'm devastated that i have to write this cry for help again. Can you guys make Syndra into a champion again? Like please?

Let me explain what I'm talking about. Syndra has Q as her basic damage spell, W also as a damaging skillshot with quite a bit of cooldown, E as CC disengage? that is very unreliable and with high cooldown. And R, the only reason dumb people cry about her, like there isn't 50 more champions that can execute you the same way she does. Syndra's Q has 70 base damage with 65%AP ratio Annie has Q as her basic damage spell, and it has 80 base damage with 80%AP ratio which is point n click idiot proof spell. It can also stun if passive is stacked. Her summoner 4 +R combo wins games because her AOE can delete entire team. Ahri has Q as primary damage and waveclear, can hit entire wave with it, also does true damage, she has sustain with her pasive, 3 flashes on her ultimate, reliable CC Orianna has game breaking ultimate with a little bit less damage than Syndra but again she scales better, waveclears better, has a shield and movement speed buff, and again GAME BREAKING ULTIMATE. Lux Where do i start? 70%AP scaling on a spell that also roots? ? ? and has 10 seconds cooldown? Is it the lowest cooldown on a CC spell in the game? Can someone check? She also has huge attack speed for a mage, an AOE shield, a slow which is also damage, and the ultimate. Let's compare her ultimate with Syndra's ultimate. Syndra's minimum damage at level 6 is 270 + 60% AP Lux's on the other hand is 300 + 70%AP but its AOE instead of single target and its also kinda global and it also has CD reset so lategame she can cast 2 of those within 12 seconds. Funny huh? Zoe has Q for main damage, which has 80 base damage, again more than syndra has which can be amplified by 150% if she hits you from greater range meaning it can do 200 damage at level 1. She also has movement speed, dodging spell, a giga range sleep. AAAND u shouldnt ever bring summoner spells against her. Velkoz has Q as primary damage , it has silly range, 80 base damage, again more than syndra does, it also slows you, His CC is somewhat unreliable just like syndras, but he can clear waves better, also he has better ultimate. Its AOE, in full duration at level 6 it has 450base damage + 125% AP ratio, and it also can do true damage. I could probably make some more reasons why Syndra needs medical assistance but to a sane man this would be enough. She is considered to be an early game lane bully champion who relies on scoring early kills to influence the game, but that effect has been taken away from her since new runes came to life and secondly since lost chapter got changed. Lost chapter item 3802 used to cost 900 gold, giving 25 AP and 300mana. which meant i could safely recall at level 5 get my Lost chapter and look to all in with stacked balls on the ground ( i need them so my ult doesn't happen to heal the enemy). Now if you perfectly last hit every minion in the lane, you still won't be able to get 1300 for this item before you hit 6 so you could walk into the midgame prepared.

Its a pain to even try and play her. She has bad damage for a champion that has nothing but damage to offer. She has no escapes. Her only defense is also her necessary as offense. She has no movement speed. Building tanky versions of her is meaningless as she ends up doing 0 damage unlike some Galio who can build off tank and still delete you in one combo She suffers early game from many champions who got attention in last couple of years. She suffers midgame to any kind of mobility champions. And finally she suffers lategame to basically everyone as she gets outscaled by every champion that builds AP.

Totally agree. She's been in such a bad spot for so long.

Maybe you haven't been paying attention? Riot has been playing around high mobility champions for a very long time, and only around mobility champions. Because back in mid season magic, when they changed syndra a bit and a few other mages, it was really helpful but she still had a low win rate even at the strength she was at, she always had unreliable CC. Riot is not going to take immobile mages seriously and will just leave them as is.

I'm a syndra main myself, i think they should remove her E, make Q and W a faster cast and a shorter cooldown and make R able to cast while moving and a new E that gives her a mobility/shield/buff to her spells(With a new passive on her E increasing the effects/allowing her to have 1 or 2 more effects to E at its max rank).

Syndra's biggest problem is that she is insanely immobile. I have tested it over and over and having a mobility spell on syndra would really make her a very powerful mage and possibly one of the best ideas ever decided for an immobile mage. She is already somewhat an assassin mage because of her immense power after 1 or 2 items and like you said, she doesn't scale well against most champions in the game so why not take her where she is at and go down the most plausible path with her? Her E is a nice spell and its a nice idea but its highly unreliable and she isn't played in most high elo games BECAUSE she is unreliable due to mainly her E and her being immobile. Again this meta is mostly mobility and will mostly always will be.

Take a look at neeko, she is a mage and she has all this bs so i don't think riot should be sweating over syndra turning into a somewhat mobile mage. A RELIABLE MAGE.

I know this is a bit off the wall but making her Q and W faster at registering and on low cooldown, they would really help keep enemies at bay (Also lower mana cost) and be able to handle most fights, she needs to be able to move when sh*t goes south not some sitting duck because she relies solely on her E when mobile champions can easily dodge with one of their skills.

Thats not all. I think i have analysis on my board if its not deleted where i calculated quite precisely her damage in early game at the start of season 7 and now. I took Veigar as an example there because its supposed to be one of the matchups that she can easily bully and win lane against. Since Veigar kinda outscales her from the first completed item. And my calculation came out that her combo at level 3 is somewhat of 35% weaker than it used to be. Against VEIGAR, champ she is supposed to beat. I shouldn't even speak of how hard she loses to: Yasuo, Talon, Ekko and Fizz as natural counters, Velqoz who does everything she does but way better, Xerath she cant even touch but gets pushed in, Zoe for obvious reasons, She loses to Lux who has more damage and waveclear. Better CC. Her ultimate does about the same damage but is global and has reseting cooldown haha funny. She loses to Orianna in terms of everything Ori has about the same range, somewhat better waveclear since she doesn't deplete mana as fast as Syndra does. After first item Orianna has more damage which is more reliable, her ultimate is a game-changer. As to solutions to the champions we are doomed to love but unable to play as we want to because Riot doesn't do their jobs well, I thought she could use a real passive and move transcendence to the passive of her ultimate. Innate make her ultimate at the range it gets lvl 16 So we dont need that "evolution" At level 6 let her evolve like Kha'zix does, and upgrade one of her basic spells to the evolved state. Q should probably deal way more damage to champions only and increase cast speed. Don't increase damage against minions cuz that would break competitive play. Those cowards abuse waveclear whenever they can. At level 11 another evolution. At level 16 another. Maybe change W to deal more damage the more health enemy has. Ulti should also have some kind of missing health scaling so Garen doesn't survive 6 ball ultimate while having 250 Hp by pressing W. im taking him as an example but there are many more. Countless times i ulted with 5-6balls champions like Poppy, Garen, Darius, Braum, Sejuani, Mundo, and many others only for them to have 250 health before my ulti and 230 after my ulti. Feels pathetic. Now the most important part, new passive. The champion really needs a real passive. And this is open to practically anything that would help her not to be useless 90% of the time. Movements speed on spell hits. Some way of shielding perhaps. Something like Malzahars passive. Something like Velqoz passive. Preferably something that rewards skill with the champion. In my opinion she is THE hardest to play mage in the game. I tried them all pretty much no one comes close in MY OPINION. 3 skillshots, and her R is the only reason bad players cry about her. her Q can actually be dodged in any direction if u have low enough ping and fast enough reactions, its a joke. Her W you can see from a mile away coming, Her E is bugged half of the time. Did you know that if Ekko tries to E jump on you and you counter with your own E Sometimes he glitches in air for a milisecond and hits you anyway. RIGHT THROUGH THE COUNTERSTRIKE. Basically the champion does nothing better than anyone else and playing fking AP Soraka mid is more effective

I like the passive idea actually, I like that Q movement speed buff idea and the evolve idea too, turning into a transcendent being, instead of waiting to max out spells all the way to freakin 18, those two would actually help her out, but to make the Q movement speed effective is to make the Q register faster, they should also make her E faster registering. These would actually bring syndra up in the game.
