Has anyone ever lost lane while playing Illaoi and have they been therefore treated for terminal stupidity? I mean how could anyone ever lose lane on whose description is Illaoi the auto win lane. Yeah i understand what her counterplay is. It doesnt work however. Dodge skillshots is not counterplay as no champion should automatically win everything by hitting one easy skillshot. Also executioners is no counterplay as she can oneshot you anyway. She doesnt care if you got 5k health. I feel the only way to make her fair is to increase her damage, make her hitboxes smaller, fix all of her bugs. And finally increase her E mana cost to 100 or more mana. So she cannot stay in lane after missing 2 of those and maybe just maybe she will become skill champion. Now its a champion that you pick to win lane. Like if you gotta talk on the phone and u dont want to dodge q u can pick her and win lane in champ select

So as a 2016 illaoi player, and with 0 changes made to her since then; I can honestly say.. Illaoi is not an auto win lane. She is good against tanks and THAT IS IT. This isn't a tank meta, therefor illaoi isn't a good pick right now.

All you have to do is bait her E (spirit grab) Clear her tentacles when she leaves lane Punish her for autoing minions and when she ults, walk away.

All you have to do is walk away to counter her. Counters her Q, counters her E, counters her Ult.

And edit; When she does her Q animation, she can't move. Its a free skillshot against her. Shes mana hungry and 3 Q's will drain her mana. She loses to teemo.
