^. not armor or MR because if your a high damage squishy you want to do your job and deal the most damage but what iems are good to basically not get 1 comboed at the laning phase tryna run away to the tower

are good for going against magic damage and have good passives and still increase damage output. Mercurial Scimitar has a 
active built in. Maw has a magic damage shield and a good synergistic passive.
is great at keeping you alive as long as you can keep auto attacking. These are just some quick examples. Their are a few others too though I can list them if you would like.
