Back in 2010 LoL had an all champions free weekend

Why havent we had one since?

A weekend with all champions free would be fun for everyone, and especially for new players. And those new players are going to have the chance to try new champions that cost too much IP, they will like them, and guess what theyll buy skins for them. Doing events like this would ONLY benefit Riot wallets.

Now that I think about it, why arent there more events at all?

I don't think Riot ever did enough events in the past, anyway. They were never that type of company. I think it would be too late to start doing them now because their business plan is so much different than other companies.

I'd just be happy to see Riot doing more of what Smite does. Actual log-in and playing bonuses aside from 'First Win of the Day". Having more events will get more players to come back and new ones to try it out. Adding the rotating game-mode is a good idea, but it's still bland as hell.

They should implement Doom Bots indefinitely because it's just an extreme bots game. It's not player vs player.

LoL is an extremely bland game. Theres SR ranked and normal, and thats it. Nobody cares about TT. Theres no other game modes (sorry Dominion). Theres no achievements. Theres very few rewards. We finally got champion mastery after 5 years. After 6 years theres rotating game modes only on weekends.

Why is there so little diversity? Where are the events? Back in S1 they also had a "Noxus v Ionia" event with pro players. Now all we have is "e-sports".
