Cho'Gath's Update

Riot should fire not only the people that made the concept changes to his E (adding % Max HP damage and a slow), but also the people in the balance team that looked at it and went, "Yeah this looks good, lets ship it as is. It looks like it will be fun to play against right?"

Seriously, scrap the current balance teams and make an entirely new ones because the monkeys working on the current ones need to return to the zoo.

Have you played Cho'Gath? Just try him, and tell me that he's broken. Dealing 12% of their max HP in magic damage is unfair? Vayne gets 12% true damage and can build attack speed, and it isn't on cooldown. You must hate her.

I've laned against Cho, I know how oppressive his E is now. A chunk of Cho's damage comes from his Q which use to be dodgable. Now he tags you with E once, doesnt even need to hit you with the auto attack just the spikes, which slows you enough to get hit by the Q that then allows him to walk up to you (because the Q knocks up and slows) allowing him to get the other E hits off onto you. If you are standing behind your minions to farm he just Es through them and pokes you down. If you stand off to the side he zones you away.

There is nothing fun or balanced about that E now. The E needed changed because it's boring, but now it's just unfair to play against unless you can out-range it.

It has a 12 second cooldown early on. If he goes in to auto you he draws agro, and you can easily turn it around, and no, getting tagged by e once doesn't make him guaranteed to land Q, and if it did, old Cho could just rush Rylai's and slow you with old E and land Q. He doesn't deal much more damage and you're blindly salty

Old Cho had ridiculous mana costs. Riot made his Q cost less mana now.

If you think i'm wrong then lane against a Cho'Gath with a clue and see how much fun you have.

That's what years of playing this game does to you, makes you analyze the game and how it's played where you talk like developers.

And she doesn't get an over 1000 True Damage from that HP either.

Cheers to poster.

A champion is slightly powerful for one patch and the entire balance team plus some need to lose their jobs.

When you look at the game's current lack of balance at all levels, I think it's kindda obvious something needs changed with the balancing staff.

his e changes are easy to balance without nerfing the numbers imo.

have the slow and the % health damage only apply to the direct target of his auto attacks, and not every enemy that gets hit by the spikes.

that way hes entirely reliant on landing his q and walk into melee range again to profit off the damage again.

I was actually thinking that while laning against a Cho'Gath today. I mean it wouldn't be the 1st time a spell did different things depending on the target.
