since this new ad spellshield item is coming out it is going to just fuck karthus so i think what should happen is karthus ult should go through spellshields because half of the time now his ult wont do anything

Yeah they should make his ult apply after like one second so it's not so easy to shield and can catch people off guard.

No, just no. Karthus's ult already has the capability of doing over 1,100 damage lategame. Do you try to ult fizz when his E is up? No. Do you try to ult Vlad when you know his W is up? No. A good Karthus doesn't even need his ult to kill someone, he makes use of Rylai's and kills them with a barrage of Q's. If they shield during the Q's, then let em retreat and then ult. He doesn't rely on his ult to do anything, don't underestimate that Q damage that does 600+ damage to a single target.
