Dragon Ball Z, the original show (and still a sequel to Dragon Ball when Goku was a kid). Kai is a released version that only goes through the first half of the show (stops after the Androids which are season 4) and cuts out a lot of the filler content because its too dragged out for currently aired content. Plus digitally remastered and all that jazz.

For example, Kai shortens Gohan's training to about a single episode before Piccolo comes back for him when Gohan was training for a full year, while Goku spent the time along Snake Way. Gohan had many growing up adventures during this time like befriending a robot and a dinosaur and being competent on his own surviving. Kai also shrunk Goku's training with King Kai to half an episode and misses out on some golden comedy. Yes there's some completely useless filler in there (Princess Snake for one) but the original gave the viewer time to grow attached to the characters and flesh out the personalities more during this training period.

Though I will forever be grateful to not need to watch a literal season from beating the Guinyu Force to finally defeating Freeza. Yes that's an 80s fan favorite for the intensity of villain difficulty but that section needed trimming.

Fun fact; it's ALL % max HP damage. Full build your Q is a 36% max HP damage nuke with a 3 second cd.

And R heals you for 40% of the enemy's max HP.

Before counting the 43% heal you get off the damage your abilities deal.

i have PBE too, i know

i've been going for a tanky build myself, not as much raw damage but I'm inclined toward survivability

item 3748 item 3812 item 3071 item 3742 item 3065 what i like to rock, but i'd like to experiment with other builds as well

like swapping titanic for warrior and visage for edge of night, maybe. more glass build but much higher output

Honestly, I think something like item 3074 item 3812 item 3071 item 3065 and item 3742 seems like the best build, simply because it really taps into his innate affinity for life steal and his abilities already healing him because of his passive.

Basically just Aatrox on steroids.

didnt even see the garen buff.

though if this is the only change to him with the w, i fear this will turn out like the armor shred buff. its a bandaid, but doesnt fix any major issue with his kit. im not even sure its enough to bring him to 50% winrate. especially with such a drastic cleaver nerf in the same patch.

kindof unsure about that myself. its a stronger, windowed damage reduction, but man. its not entirely double the value for half the duration.

it can make for a lot of damage reduction in clutch situations when hes facing burst, but youre right. its not a buff against sustained damage dealers.

at least the cooldown is going down.

I think this might push him to want more AD

shorter window of stronger durability means that he'll feel a little more pressured to do something with it.

i've been experimenting with item 3074 -- deceptively good, by the way -- but the lethality items might make me just go item 3142 item 3147 into tank, or something similar. the bigger bonus proc on duskblade is a nice power spike for snowballing early on, too

still, I was hoping for something a little more "meaningful," since this doesn't change garen being so brainless

If you want to go for a build with that much damage, you shouldn't rush Cleaver first. Go directly for Youmuu.

Cleaver gives the necessary CDR and sticking power, also it's armor reduction stacks nicely with garen's E armor reduction.

Kayn waste Ult damage on Shen so I got the feeling Kayn wont have enough damage to kill Shen's Ally who also got shield. Not to mention Shen will taunt Kayn. Because of that Kayn will counter himself and die
