Kindred tips needed
I am almost Mastery 4 with Kindred, which is higher then all but my master Yi, I dont get much time to play, but I spend a lot of time trying to learn my champs even when I am not playing with theory crafting and the like. Attempting to understand not only what to build but why to build it, so i can adapt it to my playstyle and the game I am in to increase my chances of winning, knowing why to build something helps me understand how I am supposed to play so that I can get the most out of that thing.
For Kindred I am starting to get lost the more I play with them and experiment with them. I prefer playing them in the jungle as not only is they where they "belong", but I prefer jungling to most any other form of play as I am not great at CSing, and I feel I have decent map awareness and macro decision making for MMR (not great mind you, just decent... but its better then the rest... yes I do believe my MMR is over inflated, and I am winning games I have no right to win). Most are saying build Devourer's on them, but the way I play them isnt as a farming jungler, They are capable of ganking pretty strong at level 3 and on since at that point they have all the abilities they need for a successful gank, even if they arent creating "opportunities" for me to gank that just means they arent relieving pressure from their jungle, as I feel I can 1v1 most junglers with proper skill play and timing. All this traveling around the map for ganks and marks generally makes me not farm all that much and thus not get that many stacks on Devourer and it slows that down. Further I have felt warrior gives the better early spike allowing me to be stronger for when I got to contest those objectives I want and gain stacks.
Next as I play more I feel more and more like the claim that they "dont scale well with AD" just doesnt seem accurate. Their passive scales with stacks and attack speed, so I can see the want for Attack speed here, but he lower the health of the target gets the weaker this passive gets, and honestly AD still scales with auto attacks any way, allowing for stronger end burst, I think a mix of AD and attack speed seems to be the way to go to maximize profit of Kindred's Auto attacks assuming you dont get obscene stacks some how before the game ends. Their Q basically just scales with levels and honestly is mostly used for mobility not damage so I am not building to optimize it any way. Their W scales with the same thing their Auto attack scales with, both 40% AD and 40% of the passive and 50% of attack speed, ultimately Build AD or AS or both and it still works just as well, I see no reason building AD doesnt help this thing out. Their E again seems to scale only with level since its AD scaling is just as bad as Q's at least with level the + damage other then the % current health goes up, so again not really building to optimize this, and of course finally their Ult doesnt scale with anything. All-in-all they seem to be an auto attack champion and all the abilities you want to build AS for still scale with AD any way, so a Mix doesnt seem terrible, I think this is the real reason BotRK is so good on them, since it focuses on that Auto Attack portion of the champion while providing both AD and AS.
Further there are those that suggest maxing W second instead of E, and again this confuses me, W scales pretty well with items, but its only 5 more damage per hit per level, I dont see this helping me to finish a target while E gains 30 more damage per level that would be 6 hits with wolf per level to make up for that, and since most are trying to run away I dont see why this would not be the "go to" for finishing burst damage.
I am just very confused by the suggested stuff when it comes to guides for this champ, it all seems contradictory to what I have seen, maybe I am just playing them wrong and should farm more, or something, but any way that's my thoughts, if any one can help me understand these suggestions so that I know the better way to play them that would be great, but right now I am struggling to understand the reasoning behind the way most find success with them, and I seem to be finding success other ways....
