I don't think Riot's low champion cacadence is working

I think riot needs to increase the new champions released just a little bit. My reasoning is simple, they can't really guarantee or pull off one new champion per role in a calendar year. Now compound the issue with the fact riot doesn't seem to put the roles they missed (like support) as their highest priority for the next calendar year.

I know, I know people hate new champs and love reworks, I get that. However each role you queue up as is its own game really. Each role needs fresh blood in the meta every year and reworks don't necessarily fill that purpose. I mean they do take an old character and change it, but it's still the old character doing a more refined version of the old things. It's not a new champion doing new things. Even if you do consider reworks when the last support to get a full rework who was it? Was is Soraka forever ago?

Then there's another thing to think about when it comes to new champions: they could be duds out of the gate. I mean for every Jhin riot makes, they also make an Aurelion Sol as well. BTW riot, thank you for screwing up the dragon people were waiting years to see. We waited forever for Ao Shin, you gave us Aussie, and no one plays him. Taliyah isn't seen that often anymore either. On the other hand, we see way too much Jhin/Camille Toe way too often.

If the game wants to stay healthy, the metas have to shift and new elements have to come into play. However with the fact that the larger game is split in to smaller games means that the smaller games (each role you queue for) needs to be kept healthy as well. Riot just isn't doing that consistently enough. So a change needs to happen.

I dont think you understand how much work a new champ takes. There is a reason why development on new content takes a long time. Its not that they dont want to release more, they just want to release stuff that is not BROKEN.

They're averaging 6 champions released per year. Considering there are 5 positions, and we also have champions swapping positions via player choices (Rumble Jungle, Malz Support, Gangplank Mid, Ziggs ADC, etc.) there's plenty of mixing up in the roles.

Their time would be better spent on reworking/updating old champions properly and fixing fundamental balance issues.

There are already a massive amount of champions in the game.

Camille can top , support, jungle, probably adc and mid too.

high damage high mobility high cc low mana costs (doesn't run out of mana after lvl 4) cannot lose trades due to shield passive high defense

WHAT IS HER WEAKNESS?! What riot needs is a design philosophy.

New champions take massive dedication. Usually it's 6 months for a champion from idea to in game. And many people are working at once on many champions.
