Can you imagine a 600g item which only gave the res effect, or which you could activate for a zilean ulti, but 'broke' after one use?

They dont have to give a free GA, it would just be like QSS, Hex Drinker, Taimat and a few other items people just buy half of and don't upgrade for a while (But one use). And stopwatch isnt broken, getting it for free is....

How is getting a stopwatch for free broken? To get a free stopwatch, you need to go down the inspiration path. With Inspiration, you lose a lot of dmg. Secondly, you could say getting 4 bisuits is broken cause of the amount of sustain given.

Well with precision, you have triumph, Alacrity, and Coup de grae. With Domination, you have sudden impact, eyeball collection and ravenous hunter. With Sorcery, ultimate hat/manaflow band/nullifying orb, transcendence and scorch. With Inspiration, you have a delayed flash, you get a potion and you get a one time use zhonyas. Mainly the people taking this are mages who use zhonyas anyways and adcs. But adcs lose a lot of potential damage by going inspiration(Exception Ezreal). And imagine a katarina who took inspiration instead of precision. IT might work agaisnt like a zed. But usually it wouldn't work.
