I'm actually really bloody happy that Riot didn't put Morde back into top lane

I wouldn't touch that lane with a ten foot pole.

You get NO benefits by being up there

You get NO Jungle help since there's no value in getting a top laner ahead and the objectives on that side of the map aren't that important

You're supposed to play a "Tank" or your team will inevitably flame you for picking a fighter

There's like 5 ranged champions constantly sitting in the top 10 top win rates, making the lane living hell for any melee champion

You don't get ANY help from your team if you're getting shitstomped or are getting camped

So why would I ever want MY champion to be balanced/designed around such an awful position?

I can just freely run Mordekaiser Mid, get ALL the XP, ALL the Gold as well as great presence due to being the central part of the map while also being up against mages that don't really bother to interact with me.

Or I can just play him Bot lane, get all the attention and get spoonfed kills and just singlehandedly decide the game's outcome.

Seriously, if this continues on I'd rather see Morde be an actual Mid/Bot lane pick rather than get shoehorned into Top lane

I don't need to be reminded that my champions are all second-class citizens. And Kennen.

Or that my lane is on the wrong side of the tracks.

In my experience Sion into Morde is actually a really bad match up.

I've had the opposite experience. I can deal with him in lane with a simple E max, and I can handle him in teamfights because I have enough CC to just hold him down forever.

You'll never really win lane though as he just sustains it back with his shield. In my experience anyway.

Don't gotta win lane. As long as I go even and his team doesn't run away with the game, I'll win any teamfight we both show up to.

So true it hurts. Me hovering gangplank and immediately the adc: WE DONT NEED MORE DMG PICK A TANK HURR DURR WE ARE SO SQUISHY. Swap gangplank for literally any non tank toplaner.

That's the most frustrating part when you get camped and your team doesn'T make anything out of it and you are basically reduced to a 450 gold pack.

I don't care if the top laner doesn't pick a tank (ADC main here); games are decided at 10 minutes anyways. I mainly cry if my top laner picks GP in my elo because there is a 99.999999% chance they don't have the mechanics or game knowledge to properly play that champion.

your main got reworked by certainlyt to be healthy in the botlane

my TRUE main stayed top and is terrible in a terrible lane, which forced me to main mordekaiser over darius

your main got reworked by certainlyt to be healthy in the botlane

my TRUE main stayed top and is terrible in a terrible lane, which forced me to main mordekaiser over darius

And after he was succesful botlane (for the wrong reasons) they nerfed him and now he's subpar everywhere. I don't see how being reworked by CT was good. Guy ruined my main reason of playing the game. The last 2 years have been rather sad :'(

That's not how statistics work. If you did check them, you'd see that Mordekaiser isn't low enough for his stats to be irrelevant, unlike a Volibear. Want me to send you links to stat sites or you can do it on your own?

Although I'm aware Vladimir's rework was to reduce his toxic game-play, I can say it's really injured him to the point of being unusable. I miss Vlad main. Sometimes re-works aren't for the best, just slight adjustments.

I mean, I guess that's technically nearly true but in your elo in particular the four ranged champions in the top ten combined have a whopping 4% pick rate. And two of those champions contributing to that are fucking Karthus and Annie top.

In terms of pick rate not a single ranged champion cracks the top ten in diamond+.

I've never been flamed or seen someone flamed for going fighter top.

But to be honest I would be upset if in a ranked game we had a team of squishy damage characters and our top last picks Fiora.

Also, Mid lane Morde's play pattern is like this:

Put W on a Minion Insta clear the wave Back off, maybe get your Jungler's or the enemy's Chickens

I've been trying to do Morde bot in low Elo I have a few support players that play with me doesn't really stop the flamers

Dude I thought it was just me but nope. Mordekaiser top just feels really horrible right now, I have had much, MUCH more success in the botlane. I think I'll give mid lane a try too.

For a very long time, I avoided the Rift like the plague. I could only remember the flaming, the trolling, the feeding, and all the negative experiences. I mained ARAM because of it. Hell, I jumped over to Smite and I still haven't played more than 2 or 3 games on their version of the classic three lane experience, despite that having a completely different experience.

Then, on a lark, I played my first normal SR game in some time, and found to my surprise, that I had fun. Then the new Runes dropped and I don't think I want to touch the Rift again. Not unless it's apart of the FGM

Hey don't tell me that, I'm still trying to justify my losses as me being mechanically bad, not Morde's fault. Sometimes the enemy also picks a fighter and gives me first blood because they didn't know Morde is the strongest melee.

Though I can't even name you 1 champion I commonly beat. I only remember playing against Teemo, Yasuo, Illaoi, Nasus and Riven and they all beat me except Riven sometimes.

Morde bot is still technically the highest winrate adc and has been for ages now but his playrate is so low that it's hard to tell how good it actually is.

An ADC with all of the focus of the team >>>>>> any other champion with all of the focus of the team

Morde going bot and getting all of the team's focus doesn't mean anything when ADCs are much better at everything
