Yup, his Triforce > IE setup is pretty good right now, and unfortunately having 20% crit chance won't cut it. Not even the subsequent Crit glove purchase will bandaid this, since it'll be 30% instead of the current 50%.

It's gonna be rough.

he was double dipping on crit and sheen procs. imagine if ezreal Q crits. its crazy. thats why they nerfed his entire kit. its all in his Q barrel splash damage.

I don't see what you mean. Someone being good with an item does not equate to how ridiculous Ezreal's Q being able to crit. The only example of hyper item synergy on a champion I can think of would be Duskblade on Zed, but like it or not it's unfixable because Riot likes Zed. However, hitting the champs with nerfs is better than the items.

I also don't see this as an intentional nerf to GP, as he's not exactly a massive problem right now especially compared to the biggest offenders. His winrate is fine and contrary to what some players think, GP's E isn't as easy as spamming a straight line skillshot.

I might start experimenting with Armor pen-plank... If I can't get 100% crit, I don't want crit at all :[ item 3078 item 3142 item 3156 item 3009 item 3053 item 3036 looks pretty good? Maybe replace something for a duckblade item 3147 or item 3812 I'm ATLEAST gonna try it.

That's the second sheen they give 20% cdr. I hope they don't get the idea for item 3100 ...

jesus christ no. lichbane is already the best sheen item. am not saying tf and the over nerfed ibg are weak (well ibg is weak but any sort of damage + tankiness in one item is a bad concept and will always be somewhat strong on some champs ). but lichbane sheen procs are op. and it just gives so many stats while being a lot cheaper than trinity force.

about time, i have always hated the changes made to tri force from the marksman update. sucks for the handful of adcs who liked it such as gp and corki but overall i think its the direction the item needs to go

This change hurts both GP and Yasuo though. As someone who plays lots of Yasuo this change makes me sad. On the other hand, I'm gonna love it on Darius.

Ezreal getting 25% more attack speed and 10% more CDR...

Hmm, I dunno. Triforce into Essence Reaver was pretty great before and now it'll go over the cap. Triforce into Armor Pen might be fun when this change goes through, and if it comes into favour it'll be a LOT more healthy than Iceborne Ezreal because he relies on his combo to burst down squishies and can't just autoattack someone to death.

Gangplank item 3070 I might experiment with some no crit GP builds, since I don't like the idea of being unable to get 100%.... item 3078 item 3009 item 3142 item 3156 item 3053 item 3036 looks pretty promising, Maybe replace the Steraks with a Deaths dance....
