Rito hear me! Suggestion for bans

So, with our all increasing amount champions our amount of bans (6) starts to run short.

Main argument I hear against this is that everything for one role could be banned, so my suggestion counters this.

Give us 12 bans. Yes, 12, but limit it so that you can ban 2 supports, 2 marksmen, 2 midlaners, 2 toplaners, 2 junglers and 2 free bans.

For this Riot of course would have to define primary lane for each champion but with champion mastery they are doing something like this anyway.

Or it could be slightly less. However more bans are needed but none wants for example 10 marksmen to be banned.

Please share your toughts about this, just a piece of idea which could possibly serve as the solution for the problem.
