When I'm being dived by enemy assassin/fighter/tank...

While playing ADC, is it generally better to run towards our tanks and support, (which puts me between their front and diver, and exposes said teammates for damage too if enemy deals AoE dmg) or run backwards from team which separates me from team and usually assassin will just follow me, however if I make it to turret I'm usually more or less safe.

Change one usually gets me killed, change two forces my teammates fight without me and might get me killed, so what is usually smarter thing to do?

With the changes to towers, unless we're talking about pre-level 9, they're just cuddly bunnies. Towers can in no way keep you safe from three people after this point unless they are all fairly squishy, short-range champions with low mobility, which in the meta nowadays is nearly impossible to find. It is generally always better to take the balanced teamfight where you have a chance of coming out on top as a team, even if you yourself are killed.

The most important thing however is to make sure you have good ward coverage and map awareness to prevent bad positioning in the first place.
