I literally cannot play the game with this new client

Holy.. The new client responds so slowly for me. My computer is pretty old and the specs aren't that great, but it can run the game just fine.. At least it used to be able to. With this new client, it freezes up SO OFTEN. It's like it takes forever for everything on the client to load. Basically, whenever I accept a match, it brings me to the character select screen, but I can't click on anything. The client sort of "freezes" and doesn't respond. If I give it a good 2 minutes, it will sort of "catch up" and I will be able to click something, but by that time, I usually miss my ban/champion pick and it makes me dodge. I literally can no longer play this game.... I really don't think there is any fix I can do other than "upgrade my computer" or get a new one, but I simply cannot afford a new computer or products to upgrade this one.. Especially since it has given me 0 problems before this new client came around. I'm so frustrated. I'm finally starting to get to the point in my gameplay where I want to be, and now that I can't play ranked, I will get so rusty. This is unfair, man...
