AD Grievous Wound Item

Many people have asked for such a thing, and I came up with an idea for it! The item would do the following:

Shattered Battleaxe: (3000 Gold) 80 AD 200 Mana

Unique Passive - Thornblade: After using an ability, your next basic attack (on-hit) on enemy champions below 40% health inflicts Grievous Wounds for 4 seconds.

It would build out of B.F. Sword and Sheen. It would be nice if it had CDR, but you can't just create the stat in a build path. The mana is near useless, but it's an added perk.

An AD grevious wounds item would either make sustain champs useless or never be bought.

But now it's spellblade. You can't spam grievous wound every auto attack.

Remember, it's about balance. It will make sustain near useless, as long as the opponent is below 40% HP. Buying a Runaan's Hurricane would apply the Grievious Wounds to multiple people as well.

Er, I'm not sure it should have that much AD and mana. What if it build out of pickaxe instead of bf sword, and had 50-60 AD instead?

Gold efficiency-wise, it's actually only worth 3200 Gold. Any less AD and it will be near-useless. It can't get Armor Pen, so my only thought is reducing the amount of AD, but giving it Zeke's Herald's aura or something.

There really isn't a need for an ad grievous wound item since adcs can already burn you like your in hell with the red buff just a thought

The passive should just be spellblade, I think. Otherwise you can stack it with other spellblade ( item 3025 , item 3057 , item 3100 , item 3078 ) Also, since sheen gives AP, so should all its upgrades.

Otherwise, I'm all for ad grievous wound item.

how about it builds out of item 3134 50 ad 15 ar pen 10% cooldown grievous wounds passive same as merello's only on ability cast that takes target below 40% price it around 3k

Bring back a rework of Executioner's Calling or something. Avarice Blade (800g) + Pickaxe (875g) + 825g (2500g total) = Executioner's Blade

50 AD 20% Crit Chance Physical damage applies grievous wounds to any target below 40% health for 1s (so you have to keep hitting them to keep the proc up).

(Yes I know that's pretty much the same thing.)
