At about 6 minutes I had 800 gold. That's enough for a Sightstone.

Except I couldn't buy one. I was only half way to earning the Sightstone upgrade at that point (Frostfang). So I had to go back to lane with no vision besides my trinket.

Solution: Allow us to either BUY a sightstone*, or have the support items automatically upgrade once you hit the support quest.

You have both forced me into a build path, and at a time you deem appropriate. That's why I'm unhappy.

*If I'm doing well enough in lane to afford a Sighstone early, I should be able to buy one.

If it takes you much longer than 6 minutes to complete the quest, you are doing it wrong. I get sightstone earlier now than I used to. I also see absolutely no reason to get sightstone that early anyways. You have 2 warding trinkets in bottom lane to ward 2 bushes that need warding. You can also track the jungler's movements and simply not ward for a time to save trinket charges or use them in the lane bushes. There are also control wards which can keep one of the river bushes warded for nearly all laning phase if you are pushed up. If you aren't pushed up then it isn't necessary to ward anyways.

Just upgrade your gold income item and it will grant twice as much.

So if you got it half completed at 6min you have you sightstone at 8, that's not much of a pain

God fucking dammit, Riot.

I just learned about this change live and it's a fucking stupid change. You've nerfed the piss out of support (AGAIN) by removing the tier 3 items.

Why the hell would you do this? It's like you just don't want people to play.

Fuck it. I'm out. Maybe this time I'll have some sense and never come back.
