Kleptomancy is the most fun, satisfying mastery i've ever used
Plz dont nerf. If you are going to change anything, add even more items to satisfy the loot hoarder in me. :^)

It's a really fun keystone, but I'm pretty sure they'll nerf it.

Yeah, those are my worries as well. Which is why i hope to push for making every mastery as strong as it rather than weakening it.
Well it's quite overtuned, don't you think?

I'm not sure. It encourages extremely risky play where you are forced to basic attack opponents after using a spell (similar to a sheen proc). As a reward for the risk you take, you have a chance to steal an item (but not really) from the player you strike. This mastery does not give any combat benefits, and as such picking it means you opt out of late game power in favour of (mainly) lane benefits.
It promotes a very unique hit & run strategy that at the same time does not snowball the wielder. I think this is exactly what keystones should be all about.
Yeah you're right. It's such a versatile keystone. It's literally my favorite keystone out of the bunch.
supposedly it's OP on GP.
Might have to try it on some sort of Karthus build thanks to the Q Spam
It also really fits in to the theme of GP. Pirates steal, always!

Makes sense for it to work well on champions like GP. That is not a bad thing though - i'm more than happy to see a lane sustain focused GP rather than a thunderlord spamming one.
It's going to make Bankplank good but I think the trade off of rare power in Grasp or burst from Electro and even just kiting from Phase Rush is a pretty fair trade off. It is going to be really solid but not so powerful that I must take it.
The consumables do give combat benefits depending on what drops. "Extremely risky" is an overstatement. Trading in lane is the norm. It just encourages you to cast a spell before trading in the case of non mages, and an auto attack after a spell in the case of mages. Theres no CD to it, gives bonus gold, and gives consumables that range from giving you more chunks of gold to red elixirs to even mana pots. To top it off, whatever algorithm they're using is actually making it proc fairly often. I agree its fun, but right now it's definitely over-tuned, and making everything else stronger to compensate for the strength of this isn't a viable option
...I don't even see it on pbe.
When they nerf it, I hope they just remove the gold gain and make sure you get tones and tons of consumables.
Wait until you try it on kindred, she can trigger it better then almost anyone else.
GP is probably better.

adc is MONSTROUSLY strong with it. Provided you land your Q on your opponents you will be stacking wards, health potions, mana potions as well as roughly 1000-2000 bonus gold by the 10 minute mark, depending on lucky RNG.
psst psst hey bud.... I got the good stuff for here fresh from the PBE.... You see.... Go support ezreal, start Kleptomancy and
and you'll outgold the ADC if you hit your Q's.... It's the good stuff... tsk tsk
Not really.
If I'm not out-golding adcs on Sona, you sure as hell aren't on anyone that isn't Sona.
To be fair, I'm sure they'll nerf everything. They all seem OP to me in their own ways on certain champs
What champ is arcane comet OP on?
What champ is arcane comet OP on?
Not sure... but I'm fairly certain some champ can use it really well.
pretty sure it's OK on champs that use it well (low cool down , spam-able, reliable cc) and garbage on everyone else.

Well that's why there's 15 keystones... Different options for different champs and different playstyles. If it's just ok, then it might get buffed. They have only been out for a day lol
15 for 130 champions so many options....

As oppose to 9? Not sure if you're thinking things through. Idk why you're complaining about this
Arcane comet sucks, it's one of the only options for mages. The game was better before keystones but at least TL and DF worked on nearly every caster. Now you can't adjust stats based on team comp or your opponents. And other roles received reliable keystones and casters were given unreliable keystones, unless their kit lets them reliably proc electrocute.
TLDR: new system picks winners and losers too much, and too many AP casters are losers.

Then I'm sure it will be balanced. It's only the first day. Chill. There's a reason why season 8 doesn't start until mid January, they expect a huge time needed for balancing the runes.
lux morgana can both use it.
It's a huge nerf for Lux and Morgana compared to TL.
Lux can still use Electrocute
electrocute works but it has a long cd early on which feels a bit weird.. I gotta get used to it instead of TLD tho
Her passive doesn't count as a hit anymore, so it's much worse.
I'd use Aery on Lux and Karma.
Try it on xerath, it's pretty good
Azir. No seriously try it. Every attack from a soldier reduces the cd and if you hit more then one champ it is multiplied.
To be fair, I'm sure they'll nerf everything. They all seem OP to me in their own ways on certain champs
That's exactly it. They shouldnt nerf everything - they should buff everything to the level of the strongest one.
Thats how powercreep happens.
I think that's okay, though, in this situation.
Powercreep on champions: Bad, as it requires people to purchase new champs to remain competitive. Obsoletes old favorites, disenfranchises veterans, the whole nine yards. Players should have an even playing field, and champion powercreep prevents that in the worst possible way.
Powercreep on runes/masteries: Fine, as all champions have access to strong options. Puts flashier power on pre-game decisions, so players know what they chose influenced their game. Only works if all options are of comparable strength, as otherwise we end up with the same problems as our first example of powercreep.
Ideally, each champ should end up with a few strategies that work well for them and make them feel unique... and I'd prefer if these were noticeably powerful.
Thats how powercreep happens.
The alternative is nerfing everything and getting another tank meta.
YES YES YES!!!
