^ Seriously it is ridiculous for a ap scaling true damage to be spammable every minute.

Stop bitching. If cho misses his moves he's a sitting duck until his cds are back up. Q isn't impossible to dodge either. I can't yell you how many teams I've played against as cho and have been kited for days.

Get better scrubs.

id say it needs a short animation to delay the ability (around half a second), to give you just a little time to react to a flash+feast. right now, the damage is instant and its incredibly difficult to react to it, even if you see it coming. but thats pretty much it.

you know, as annoying as i find cho'gath for being completely indestructible even when built full ap

you realise he has to be absolutely point blank to ult you, right?

one Q is all it takes for him to catch up to you. It's not like champs have satellite range to hit him with and unlimited mana where he can't reach you.

Then dodge the Q. It's ridiculously easy to dodge. One way to handle Cho in lane is to rush boots first. If he lands it, and walks up to you, and kills you, that's just like any other combo of a mage landing their main cc and blowing their entire kit to kill someone. Is Cho'Gath really all that different?

If Ahri lands her E, she'll Q and W you for full damage and use her ult to finish you off. Same with Annie, and most midlaners who have some form of cc. It's not as flashy when Cho'Gath does it, but be glad he has to be in melee range.

Or you can build banshee's veil later in the game to block one of his cc spells.

The thing is, it is only on that short a CD if you allow Cho to amass and keep 6 stacks of Feast. Initially, he needs to use it at least 6 times, mostly in plain view, to stack it up. And every time he uses it for stacking, you have at least a 24 second window to engage on him.

I have to disagree. The cooldown is ONLY if the bite kills you. This means that if he misses the execute, it goes on its full cooldown. And most of the time he's going to be using it in lane to build up his passive stacks. Combo that with the fact that is a single target close range ability and he has no gapcloser and I think its plenty fair that it does a ton of damage. If he's building Full AP then being in melee range is a death sentence for him. If he's building tank then melee range is fine, but he's not going to have 400-500 AP to scale off of.

Finally, I'd like to point out that there are many other champs that do massive single target damage with good scaling. Lee Sin has a 2.0 Bonus AP scaling. Darius has a 0.75 scaling that can be taken up to 1.5 bonus AD. AND he can cast it on up to 5 people, making it have the possibility to do 750% bonus AD in scaling damage alone, not to mention the possibility of a 680 base true damage. And other single target ult champs such as Veigar have INSANE scaling that goes with both their own AP and the Enemy's. And its ranged.

Its a powerful ult, but its hardly OP. Cho is very easy to play against if you can kite well. Right now, he's hardly the champ that you should be worrying about.
