Numbers were nerfed, slow nerf is next patch or sometime in the future

They said something about how they can't change tooltips with hotfixes so that is probably it.

Numbers were nerfed by hotfix early this week. Slow being melee only and a further damage nerf for ranged champions will go live with 7.15.

We're evaluating whether this will be enough or not - there's still a possibility of further nerfs for melee, ranged, or both, but no commitment yet.

Hi Axes, I hope you're doing well. I'd just like to ask why you don't make things like Duskblade melee only? It seems like most of the abuse cases with Duskblade and other lethality/armor penetration items tend to arise from ranged champions (usually ADCs) buying an item that isn't intended for their class. I understand that you don't want to pigeonhole item builds into one or two "correct" builds but when you look at items like Duskblade from a historical standpoint, they always end up getting abused by ranged champions for all the wrong reasons. Thoughts?

TL;DR is it bones AD Casters.

To be honest though, I reckon Duskblade itself would be fine with a handicap for ranged, which is what Rito seems to be going for

So again melees get the short end of the stick when it isn't even the damage that is the problem on range but actually the slow guaranteeing to be safe from any melee threat not called jarvan, camille.
