If he has 350 AD I don’t think he’s building tank.

I hope this gets adressed, this strategy is really unfun to play against. Similar to ZZrot Udyr last season.

Still I wonder why nobody thought about this before, or was this just started working with the change that turned towers into butter?

Take either darius or kled and show them what an intning sion is xD.

Sion is obscenely overpowered after the latest buffs. Highest win rate in the game in both top and supp.

Even if you TRY to die, you win, as long as you clicked on a turret

Riot should probably not have champions that 'benefit' from dying.

Sion is one of my favs and frankly, his passive is a horrible piece of garbage that shouldn't exist - and I've always felt that way about it.

I just watched a vid to see what the exact things to do to make it work. Sounds like it can be countered by having an ADC on your team. Like a real one, with a Bork and a last whisper.

I got it once in my games and he failed miserably, blaming his team for not taking advantage of his 15 deaths

Free kills. Free kindred marks. Hell, just put someone who can waveclear top, like annivia.

I think it is his obscene base damage allowing him to remain a threat even while inting. How many times have you seen a 0/10/0 sion 100-0 a squishy with 1 combo?

I saw it in game last night and was quite easy to deal with. He failed.

Play an AP into him (Rumble, for instance), start stacking Dark Seal/Mejai's. Proceed to dominate.

If you really hate what this strategy is now then just reduce his damage to buildings by 50% when on his active passive. That's all they do. They get Titanic hydra, then streaks and they farm like crazy for extra dmg from titanic. No further nerfs needed.

all have reliable anti tank mechanics that can rip Sion to shreds

Vayne's probably the best one to pick vs a Sion.

Varus, Kog and Kai'Sa can be mitigated by magic resist.

i see that the prob is sion is tanky and this strat make him focus only at destroying turrets but it make him feed the enemy team so what about picking a hyper carry champ that can shred tanks hmmm maybe master yi? i heard that he makes tanks useless with this conqueror rune +guinso+bork. if master yi can kill him in less than 3 secs alone then it will become useless. master yi top is hell hard difficulty btw

They prolly wont do anything about it unless it turns up in the LCS like the YI + Taric thing did.

Easy fix, remove Demolish from the game. HP stacking tanks shouldn't be allowed to take towers like that

Remove Sion's scaling HP from W, nerf his Q's damage since it was buffed for some reason, and nerf his passive in some way.

He really needs to be nerfed, champ is broken, even if you try to int on him you win lmao.

How to nerf it:

Change Overgrowth to only affect bonus health from items. Double Overgrowth's percent bonus to 4%. This way it's not a Sion/Cho exclusive rune and nerfs this strat at the same time.

Played Rumble top yesterday, made him 2/7. Left him alone for 2-3 minion waves as I went to help my team with dragon. he took the 2 towers in top lane.

5 minutes later he ulted down top lane with no minions, crashed into the inhib tower, put down a ZZRot and proceeded to 1v1 it and win.
