Will Karma's Old Tether Mechanic Ever be implemented again?

There were so many aspects about old karma that were so interesting and fun, (2 mantra charges, ridiculous shield ratio bombs, aoe heal) but the most unique was definitely her tether mechanic

I'm just wondering if Riot every intends to add this to a new champion, or to existing karma, or even make a new champion altogether with many of old karma's aspects, cuz in truth new and old karma play very differently, and i miss old karma all the time, it'd be nice to see some of her make a comeback in some way
