Honestly it's still extremely iffy...
Karma FULL Mantra Q on entire enemy team refunds 30 seconds on ult cooldown. With CDR that could immediately refresh Mantra
Will almost never happen in a real game tho
Karma loses the 40% hp regen, and gets a swain level tether.... If the 10% damage amp was back on Renewal, and they made the tether more streachable by increasing the max length by 100. Karma would be a great AP jungle. Get Liandries Q your target to start the dot mantra w and you have a speed boost if they try to escape.
This Makes Karma a Utility Jungle that can really influence a team fight.
As long as tether keeps its dmg so Q isn't your only form of dmg, and the W still heals % based missing hp then solo karma is safe. I am afraid this may make her a bit too strong though.
This is a net buff to mage, support and jungle Karma. Previously, I was worried that mage Karma wouldn't be viable because both the sustain and some of her damage were removed. However, the fact that they keep the healing on RW while buffing the scaling of regular W by 30% :O which she uses more than RW by default pretty much means she will deal more damage every game without giving up much in return. Karma will definitely be very (if not too) powerful with these changes.
Aw, they took 2 seconds of scaling off of the shield. I was looking forward to that 6 second cooldown. I mean, the 30% AP ratio is probably technically a bit nicer to have than the 2 seconds on the shield and the 0.25 seconds on the R-W root, so I can't really complain.
I don't get why they want to increase the root duration when its already nearly impossible to keep someone in the tether for said root.
I do like how they decided to keep the "usable on Monsters, and allow her to have a Jungle focus. The AP ratio buff on her W will definitely help with clear speed, and you can definitely use the Root on the W to kite the Jungle monsters.
I think were focusing on the W here, after 3 iterations, every other part of her kit change remained the same.
I actually like this version of the proposed change for Renewal. She gets to keep her heal (baits!) which is central to her gameplay and the snare lasts longer so she can support well. I want the teamheal mechanic incorporated somehow into her kit though. Also, I really hope Ricklessabandon reconsiders the removal of damage from Defiance. It's just not Karma without it. What if they reduce the damage on it but make it put a debuff on enemies hit allowing allies to gain health from proc-ing the debuff on affected enemies? It could fit with the current intention of making the spell more defensive-oriented.
