Please make a new attempt to rework Taric.

Before Patch 6.8, Taric was my main. I was looking forward to the Taric rework because Taric seemed like a very basic Champion. Well, me and many others were disappointed. In fact, the only people who were happy with Taric's rework were those people who don't even use him. Through Patch 6.7 Taric had a pick rate of 11.6%. Patch 6.8 (his rework) dropped that pick rate to 3.1%. Today, Patch 6.20, his pick rate is a measly 2.8%. Nobody likes the new gem knight. You ruined him. Please fix.

A- His heal is stupid weak. Even at full charge, standing in both AOEs, Taric can't heal himself for as much as he used to. B- His W is thematically appropriate, but all together it ruined his kit. His W is a pathetic excuse to nerf his abilities. C- His stun is just dumb slow and predictable. Taric is weak as fukk because he no longer has shatter- so he doesn't get in the front lines unless he's trying to land a stun. Taric comes forward, everyone is ready for the stun. But he has his W? Yeah.. I already covered why that's a bad skill- stop using it as an excuse. D- His Ultimate is tash. Sorry. It's trash. His previous Ultimate got shit done. Now I have a bunch of clueless teammates running around like idiots wasting the power of my ult.. With Taric's old Ult, he was empowered and could lead the charge. This Taric stands back- giving the allies no reason to utilize his kit.

"Invulnerable" indicators are stupid. Stop trying to patch up your mistakes with more mistakes. Bite the bullet, admite you made a mistake with the champ and give it another go.

This goes for Ryze too. How do you take a useless champ, and just turn him into a useless asshole that abuses his ult?? Scrap that entire piece of shit and start from scratch.. even his skins are boring.. Uncle Ryze still looks like a joke.

I mained Taric quite heavily before his rework, and even though he lost some of his burst, I still find him to be very fun. His kit is all about timing, and knowing when and how to land your stun and ult. If you would take some effort to practice how to land his spells, you'll find he's very fun. While his Q may be weak, it's intentionally weak for a reason. He uses Q to spam his passive, and in combat, it's his bread and butter. Again, practice with him and you'll see how fun he actually is to use.

As for Ryze, his VGU did a huge number on making him a lot more balanced. You clearly do not understand Ryze if you considered him useless before his rework, because he's been a top meta pick for years. And Uncle Ryze is supposed to look goofy. It's a silly skin.

That's cool. If you want that kit in the game then make a new champ. He's not even the same person anymore. His gameplay is cowardly. Standing back and waiting instead of taking charge and leading the push. Riot hates tanks. And that's going to lose them a lot of dedicated players.

Yorick got a real rework. Somebody who actually cared about the champion put time into him.

Whoever reworked Taric is a cock sucker, that's what. There is no gem knight- there is just a sparkly pussy cat representing gay pride. Which is another issue with Taric's rework. It was influenced by a troll ass aversive-homophobic community.

Taric mains wanted a viable, and balanced champion that still represents a heroic knight. The fanboy clubhouse wanted Taric to marry Ezreal and show off his nipples.

Guess which Taric we got.

Pros can do stuff with his ult, so I doubt they'll ever do anything. A shame really because that dull ult of his and his new E turned him from a high mobility counter to someone who can be easily outplayed by basic mobility and relies more on punishing mistakes than being proactive... You know, the polar opposite of what he was played for in the past?

I mained him too, and was disappointed. He's not the same champion and IMO nowhere near as fun.

But the rework is much healthier and, really just a better champion. He's actually getting played in Worlds. And winning.

He takes more skill and, as Oleandervine said, is all about timing. Saying that an ult that can grant team wide invulnerability is trash just is just ignorant.

Also pick rate is no indication of power. Nobody plays Aurelion Sol, but he's a monster in the hands of an experienced player. I know it sucks that you hate what used to be your favourite champion, but Riot considers the rework a success. And it was, even if some of the old Taric mains are unhappy.
