GJ Riot!
Yet another good set of patch notes. It's at least as good as the last! Y'all are hitting the nails on the head, and are doing nothing that contradicts yourselves in the process. Removing extraneous power and giving champions ratios is definitely the right way to go.
Poppy's changes are one of my favorites. I don't even play her - I only play male champions (does that make me a masculinist?) - and yet I can't help but appreciate exactly what these nerfs do to her. Her spells have shorter range, giving her more character in the sense that dwarf-like melee fighters should probably both not move particularly fast AND not have a large range of threat. BUT statistically speaking, she's still a powerhouse. No major changes were made to that. I like this a lot.
Secondly, the nerfs to Zed and Maw are a breath of fresh air for mid lane. Maw was too powerful for an item that is built from Hexdrinker. Zed, who built Maw, was too constantly threatening for an assassin that preyed on mid lane. It was good of you not to nerf either of these things too hard, as well.
Third, mana costs. Not exciting, unless you're not playing Soraka, and then you know she can only heal and harass so much which is very relieving and can only be more interactive.
Finally I really liked the Corki nerf. That 10% extra scaling on basic attacks was extraneous indeed, especially considering the rest of his kit which isn't all about autoattacking.
Overall another great patch. Keep it up you guys!
