Has anyone taken a closer look at the attack speed stat in combination to crit chance?
Because what I see is, that champions like Twitch and Tristana have a very easy time steamrolling a game because of their attack speed buff. I mean think about it. After your first crit item the champions with on-demand attack speed steroids have a huge advantage since they can "roll for the lucky crit" much more often than others and Twitch and Trist even have rediculus range on top of that. I think fast hitters shouldn't be allowed to also hit hard and from far away. I feel like that has also become the reason why Corki isn't played bot anymore. ADCs that dont build a crit item as their first item or have an attack speed steroid became very rare nowadays, at least from my experience.
Kalista? Nowhere to be seen. Quinn? Was popular when you could build her assassin-y top but never was popular in the bot lane. Ashe? Not as rare as the two above but her Q isn't as on-demand as Trist's for example and her best quality is her safe initiate. Lucian? Was way more popular when you had harder excess to Crit Chance.
Caitlyn and Ezreal are the only popular ADCs without an attack speed steroid but that is only the case because of their very safe early game that transitions into an above average mid game.
And just btw. Tristana is far to safe of a pick with her Rocketjump and ult for what she offers. Burst, high range late game, sustained damage, wave clear.
What I propose is, that Ashe's crit mechanic should be spread towards EVERY champ in this game. That might even pave the way for balanced Yasuo and Tryndamere. Luck is unhealthy in a game like LoL and having the chance to roll the dice more often than someone else is even unhealthier.
