This item. I have NEVER seen it ever being bought in game. Id say it needs a buff/tweak, since is just ahead of by MILES. 100 lane minions takes a LONG time to get, and by the time you get there the 350 gold just isn't as important as it was early game. But Doran's blade... The 3% life steal, 1 more AD, 80 health. MUCH better for early game. What will ever be the fate of ?

You literally buy it on ADC nearly every game.

You literally buy it on ADC nearly every game.

I main SUPPORT and i have NEVER seen any adcs buy this out of over 100+ games. Last time i saw it was my friend playing top lane trolling with AD galio. Results should be obvious.

WHY must we YELL certain WORDS?

but nah, any decent adc will know to make an investment into cull. If you ever back with not enough for zeal/bf then you should purchase a cull, not a longsword+pots or whatever it is your adc's build. I see it quite often because it is such a great item that provides decent sustain (especially paired with Doran's) and is incredibly gold efficient

Doran's is the way to start, but Cull is a great fallback item for you next back

Im talking about low elo. There are no decent ADCS. Even if they have enough gold they always buy longsword...

then how is that an issue with the item?

Just because low elo players don't take advantage of this great item doesn't mean it should be buffed...besides, it's a terrible idea to balance around low elo in the first place.

Id say it needs a tiny tweak so it seems more appealing for less skilled players.

and I'd say it's perfectly balanced as is, and it makes no sense to "tweak" and item to make it more appealing to bad players when it is perfectly fine as is

it's their job to understand the game, not the game's job to adapt to their inefficiency

I see other adc's grab this about 10% of the time. IDK if they're on to something or lost, I never get it cuz doran's just makes more sense most of the time, however I haven't really thought much about it since shortly after it was first released.

Might consider it next match.

Exactly. Dorans is so much better as a starting item for the life steal and people keep it until they absolutely have to sell it for the item slot...

Its an item you get vs certain lanes or being a certain lane. Or a special reason to get it.

But perhaps call may be better early game because 3 life on hit is better than 3% life steal under 100 ad.

Honestly I don't think early game items matter that much. I mean I've gotten shield and done well. Till mid game. When they came back with a strong item.. And... Oh.. Yea..

Maybe. But since most people keep the Doran's till they don't have inventory space...which is mid-late game it becomes useful for the life steal,
