To be fair, the improvements to the Ping system (like pinging your summoner spells & their cooldowns for example) makes it much easier to communicate with your team without the chat.

But what if I don't like using pings for everything? What if my ping button gets messed up and it keeps doing the yellow exclamation mark whenever I try to ping anything else?

It's great that the ping system is improving, but I don't want to 100% rely on it.

I'm not saying that you should rely on the ping system all the time or that it should be the go-to method of communication for League. I have no idea where in my post it even implied I said that.

I'm just saying that it is there so people can still communicate without using the chat. If you want to use pings, great. If you want to use the chat, also great. As long as communication is still happening, it doesn't matter.

Classic meme... But reality, just personally mute the toxic shit. Listen to key notes, maybe summs were called, maybe someones calling baron in a minute without pinging, and just filter the bad. Someone shouldn't be able to hurt you with a keyboard unless its physical :P

I've just started treating people I don't trust like my minions. I just try to do well and ping for them to do stuff all the time. If you're doing well most people will listen to you. They won't if you feed or flame.

Just do what i do link a webpage so they can talk on discord and if they don't say whelp good luck i can communicate with the ping system i sure hope you can because i' not gonna type crap for you since no one ever listens anyway. Like stop pushing wave so far up with no wards or let it push so i can gank. Then they complain no ganks.....you are next to their turret (no wards) and you are losing your lane......good luck because i'm not turret diving someone that isn't low.

Hahaha i love the responses in this of course its a team game but its going to go one of both ways you get someone so toxic that makes you want to afk or you get someone who pings a million times. I like talking if i have a decent team, even if you lose i still enjoy myself if the teams friendly but it rarely happens. I always try play at least duo que so then i have one other person that i can sychronize with well so it gives the team that bit more of a chance to win. I just hate yas and yi lol Yasuo [zombie-brand-mindblown]

i think honestly the fact that its a team game only serves to make the game less enjoyable. i like playing with my friends and all but i would prefer the game be more akin to CS:GO where, yeah i can be with my team mates and actually coordinate with them... or i can lone wolf it and be a fucking legend, or lone wolf it and die horribly. its the same reason why i feel a lot of people have been leaving league, the game has become more and more team oriented and less and less about the individual which i feel is a bad thing. there is a reason why i REFUSE to play any kind of healer in any team based game. humans are an ultimately fucked race and working with them is an infuriating task. i used to main Nasus for a long time for this exact reason.
