As somebody who loves Quinn...

Can we please make her ult a good execute? Like it's just sad that her Ultimate does very little damage, put's her in melee form (Not even a bonus range melee form like Aatrox ult), and her abilities don't proc her passive nor reset the cooldown of her basic abilities. Her ult doesn't start going off of cooldown until Valor form ends. I really hope some buffs will go her way because It's just disappointing to play her right now.

Her ult damage right now for some context:

MINIMUM PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 100 / 150 / 200 (+ 50% bonus AD) ~ MAXIMUM PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 200 / 300 / 400 (+ 100% bonus AD)

This doesn't sound too horrible until you realize that a person has to be extremely low(Like 5% HP remaining) to get the max amount of damage (and at that point it it doesn't matter). and because of armour that get's halfed so you're only really going to do around 250 on average.

Don't look at her ult.'s active as her ult. Her ENTIRE ult is an execute/disengage.

As a quinn player, you should never transform unless you know you'll come out on top.

However, many a time I have been able to get to wounded targets half way across the map with her ult, so in a way, it's a highly effective execute. Just don't rely on the second active for damage.

Quinn mains, you are the people who make me want to hide in jungle the entire game lol.

Still doesn't justify the insanely long CD of it (especially early game).

Just lower it to around where Garen's got changed to and I'd be happy.

Though I think it's dumb that Jinx ult is global, stronger execute, and much lower CD than Quinn ult.

The cooldown is a little crazy, but I think they're concerned about the utility it brings.

There was a change accidentally shipped to the PBE a few months ago that removed the execute damage and changed the cooldown to 120/40/1, so that at level 16, you could just be a bird if you wanted. I'm not sure that's the best way to design her, but it's an option, and it does solve some of the problems she has right now.

Yes, it's silly that an adc's ult makes her melee without giving any defensive stats.

Yes, it's silly that you lose your passive when you ult.

Yes, it's just ridiculous that her execute does the most damage when the target is already dead.

Yes, she needs some QoL fixes.

BUT

Her ult, even in its present state, is an amazing assassination tool. You just have to forget you're an ADC for a sec. Basically, if you're playing Quinn, it is your job to hunt down and kill the enemy ADC. You ult, flank around to their rear, and jump on the adc while the front line is preoccupied. Hilariously fun.

If she gets buffs before she gets bugfixes, she's going to break top lane. The tank meta will probably soften this, but I don't know whether that'll be enough. We don't need her to do hella damage; she's got that. We need her to be able to use her E without inadvertently jumping into the middle of the enemy team. (It sometimes sends you the wrong way.) We need harrier to stop marking dead minions. And we need cleaner aa animations.

I'm with ya, but Maokai don't be hasty.

LOL spot on with Maokai. They wanted to make him competitive as a jungler, but they buffed him so much that now he just goes toplane instead. At this point many people have forgotten that he was actually designed as a jungler lmfao I have seen people get accused of trolling for taking Maokai jungle.

Quinn gets unique versatility in that she can go bot as a traditional ADC or go top as an early game tower destroyer transitioning into a early roamer / midgame assassin. Any buffs to her and she will just pull a Maokai and go top every single game and become unbeatable in lane while still being able to have a great late game and not weigh her team down like dual ADC comps usually do late game. If they want to buff Quinn, they need to get her out of top lane first, and if she wants to still be strong top she needs to be required to build some defensive items like every other fucking top laner is required to do, not just take tower 5 minutes in and camp other lanes to get them snowballed then ult back to her lane just in time to protect her turret like she does right now, all while building almost no defense items and just using her vault and eagle form to keep her out of harms way.

Heh. The Maokai thing was actually a Lord of the Rings reference. They don't have an image insert for Treebeard, so I made do. :D Good point, though. I hadn't thought of that.

But yeah, I wonder if they should add another armor item? One that reduces damage dealt from a longer range, maybe? Maybe that's ridiculous, but it does seem like ranged top laners have become a bit more popular, and this would stem the tide a bit.

Or maybe a defensive corollary to the Double-Edged Sword mastery; deal less damage, take less damage from range.

Really quickly, though, Vault isn't that reliable for staying out of harm's way. She's still targetable, and she's not guaranteed to finish the animation like Tristana or something. CC will usually stop her right in front of you, which is really frustrating. But again, not something that can be fixed just yet.

Way I see it, people who take Quinn top have no room to say that Leblanc Katarina Nidalee Akali are "anti-fun" because taking Quinn top is the DEFINITION of anti-fun. Just wanted to get that out of the way.

Quinn doesn't need buffs. Once Quinn gets some items, she comes out of nowhere in Valor form and dives into you and her combo kills you before you can react. Good Quinns terrorize the map.

ADC's have the highest damage in the game and the strongest late game, countered only by the fact that they get decimated if they have no one to protect them. Which is why balance gets VERY dicey regarding ADC's with self peel, like Kalista Ezreal Vayne Quinn Lucian. For the most part they must be kept weak stats wise because if they are ever the slightest bit strong, they not only outclass every other ADC, but they outclass every other CLASS in the game. If you can take a ranged champ that has high sustained damage, extremely strong late game, and the ability to protect themselves during fights, then you have literally no reason to take any other champion. I don't know if you were there for release Lucian, but he completely dominated the game and was for the most part untouchable, even without someone to peel for him.

Everybody considered Lucian garbage on release though, I still remember when his ult was nicknamed The Cuddling.

A Miss Fortune2 votes

Still both Lucian and Quinn are stronger than majority ADCs currently. Lucian for his dashes, poking, and powerful teamfighting and Quinn for her insane single target damage.

I think Quinn will become played eventually. No one thought Shyvana was good until LCS for example. Now people start fighting each other to play her top with smite.

Lel, Quinn is anti-fun top? Do you even Lulu, bro?

I main quinn and I find her ult to be VERY useful. It is very easy to initiate with it as the e + q + auto is almost ALWAYS enough to burst them down to 40%-20% HP and then finish with the ult, (half the time I don't even have to use the ult's active). The ult has many functions and uses (I won't go through them all, since your a quinn player too). Not every ability can do EVERYTHING and her ult does a lot more and has a lot more functionality than a lot of other ADC's ults Lucian, MF, cait are just a few that come to mind, all their ults do are kill secure and/or damage, while quinns ult does much more and brings a lot more utility.

P.S. Don't forget about the psychological perks of an ult like that. i.e. You charge in at them and burst them they are likely to try and run rather than stay and fight, which gives you the offensive edge and leaves them with very little time to react.

Just wanted to agree with a few other posters.

The ult is about utility as much as it is about damage. It's a get back in the get quicker skill. It's a map control skill. It's a chase down that fool, jump on top of them, drop an arrow barrage and then q and/or e for good measure to kill them skill. It's a disengage tool for split pushing.

Also, remember, Quinn is a short range ADC that relies on her Q to keep people back. The blind helps, but it's not perfect. Quinn wants to be near enemies, always moving and never far away. She's not a Kogmaw, which is obviously an extreme comparison.

Quinn's about executing on opportunities gained through smart map control and fight positioning. Like others said, Quinn is great at chasing, picking off immobile targets and abusing enemies that get out of position.

I think this would be a good change. Increase maximum damage by this

MINIMUM PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 100 / 150 / 200 (+ 50% bonus AD) ~ ( This damage will apply quickly if enemy is 66%-100% Maximum health)

MINIMUM (Not really Minimum but lets just say she will deal this much damage..very similar to Rivens ULT)

PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 200 / 300 / 400 (+ 100% bonus AD) ~ (This damage will apply quickly if enemy is below 66% all the way to 33).

MAXIMUM PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 250/ 350 / 500 (+ 100% bonus AD) (This damage will apply quickly if enemy is below 33% all the way to 1%).

TBH i feel like if Quinn gets to do Her Q+E in Bird form on ADC, that will deal A LOT of damage and will probably deal 100-40 or 50%. Not just that she is AAing you with crits on top of that burst. With this change this should at least make her a good pick.

She has one of the weakest executes in the game(especially considering it's her ulti), q get's 65% bonus ad, and her e only gets 20%.. her base damages aren't even that high.. to be honest her damage right now is incredibly reliant on trinity force and max armor pen.. no real reason to build much ad on her

Pineconn1 votes

If they were to buff the execute, it should be only at later levels and by a slight amount. Her ult is pretty strong at 6. (Note: Quinn is my go-to ADC.)

Kind of off-topic, but I like to go standard ADC itemization on Quinn. I see people build BotRK first and then Youmuu's, which I really think is suboptimal. I've spent hours in custom matches and AD/crit build feels so much better. Her spells scale with bonus AD, so it makes sense.

Quinn is already an extremely overbearing champion with very limited counterplay when she's able to assassinate in a game. (it's not too difficult to get to this point.)

Any buffs, especially to her ult combo, would be disastrous.
