champions i struggle to lane against. tips

am bad at this game. i mainly jungle so am not that great of a laner. i mainly play top. outside jungle. here are a list of few champs i struggle to win against. please make it beyond "dodge". give me some detail

this is gonna be a somewhat similar list. juggernauts is what i struggle to lane against. mainly garen-illaoi-darius. basically turret hug and still get shit on kind of struggle.

now i understand you can pick a ranged adc and shit on them but am talking about the other top meta champs.

here is what my problem is with these champions.

first lets start with garen. actually an insight into all of these. they do alot of damage while being tanky

my problem with garen. is MAINLY. the speed boost he gets. a lot of tips online say to "kite him" while garen MS goes up to over 500 with dead mans and his MS boost off i think his Q i think. am not sure which one is it i don't play garen. and his health regen ofcourse he just leaves a 1v1 and comes back full health. today i chased a garen for about 2-3 minutes. i kid you not. with blue ezreal perma slow. kiting to kill him. but you know am talking about top champs here.

my problem with darius. is his hook. thats about it. for some reason even if i dodge my way out of the hook animation i still get hooked in. similar to morganas Q. giant ass hitbo. that for some reason some people here think is fair to have. invisible stuff.

illaoi. multiple problems here. she has a high base damage. higher than darius or garen. and her tankiness and damage doesn't allow you to go 1v1 her when she Es you to remove the debuff from activating. practically she can E you and take your turret with not much to be done. I understand I can "dodge" her e. but i cant dodge her E every single time and she only need to land it 2-3 time to take the turret. and she outdamages the turret so i am dead under turret with her E after level 6-7.

what are the tips here?. you know for example when I pick kassadin into something like. lissandra mid. i destroy her because of the mechanics. I can R out of her ult. and get close to her. or like. jax and yi. jax counters all of yis autos which is most of his damage.

is there some sort of way around. just deal with it with these champions?

Depending on match I like to face against them all especially illaoli and her mini game. Let illaoli spam all her mana and she is useless. Kiting garen and knowing the range of diaries e and q range.

For example chogath is an excellent pickharassing with w and using e to proc thunderlords and strong sustain. As soon as they try garen q use rupture to stop him from getting close. Same for Darius w.

Garen and Dario have tools to freely engage on you. Unless you play some kind of counter or erly game bully take preparations for rough early game, that means take defensive setup scaling hp yellows + cloth armour + pots + tp. Let them push you a bit - both of them will trade you with AOE abilities, so they either push or don't try to trade you, you are fine with both - and freeze near your tower, wave control is HUGE in toplane. Learn their cooldowns, if they use abilities to reset wave to your tower you have window to deal some damage to them.

Vs Illaoi start boots and dodge stuff, I know you didn't want this but honestly this is the way to deal with Illaoi. If you allow her to land stuff on you you gonna get rekt, but harsh lesson itself won't win her anything. Attack her if she took your soul, but for God's love don't line up with your soul for double slap. Destroy tentakus when she is away from they or when she has QW on CD, tentakus won't slap you by themself so they are save to destroy for some gold. Ask jungler for ganks, if she doesn't have alot tentakus she is a sitting 0 escape 340 MS duck. You can take ignite to take her down easier. If she makes you vessel back off and destroy 3 tentakus. When she ult's you need good judgment - either burst her down quickly or if you can't don't even try and back off. If she pulled your soul she will NEVER be able to kill yourself only by attacking it.

the other day i was malphite and her E pull and damage took 45-50% of my health. i SHIT you not. I had around 170-180 armor thats a lot of fucking damage for an ability so destructively punishing.

IKR, that's why I told you you just HAVE to dodge this. But at least it stops on minions. The other option is to attack her, so that soul will disappear earlier, but you still have to dodge her abilities to do so, unless you are ranged.
