because riot has cemented the idea of unskillful, low risk high reward point and click gameplay into the support role and the support playerbase hates the idea of actually having to play the game like the rest of us

I tried to stay away from the others here cuz these are the common champs ppl complain about having the point and click abilities, and tbh their strongest features are point and click. And then there's sona lol, but yeah you right.

He's a utility support, so he does qualify, even if he's not in a duo lane. Lux also sees a great deal of time in the support role in the bot lane, so she certainly qualifies, especially if Brand does.

Most support already have skillshots anyway unless you're talking about shields/heals. If they made shields/heals a skillshot they would have to buff it even more since now there's a good chance you'll miss. Not only that but making heal/shield a skill shot will make it incredibly terrible to play as support and mage support will just dominate again.
