Is it viable?

It's viable it's just less effective than jungling her. She has shorter range and can't make as good of use of her passive. Top kindred is kinda cancerous too against a melee champ like darius or nasus.

all ADCs are cancerous in top lane.

kindred is actually ok in bot, but not the best. its really hard to stack her passive unless you snowball. (cant guarantee) and that is where most of her damage and strength as an "op" pick comes from. when you get it stacked its basically a free bork on your kit which is massive. but if you dont she is just your average adc with decent mobility, great early game damage, and insane sustain in lane.

that is her main strength. her passive healing on E i believe it is...is just so strong for sustain in lanes. so if you are NOT against an all in lane and are against say...soraka/janna instead kindred is safe as hell. still think she is best in the jungle because her early ganks are actually really good damage output wise, and you can get passive stacked WAY easier.

shes got a great early game potential to snowball, but its going to be very volatile, someone will win someone will lose. all in all kindred belongs in the jungle so she has better access to stacks.

Yes, but not as effective as Kindred jungle.

Their damage is subpar compared to most ADCs in favor of more sustain.

Viable but highly nerfd, riot has made it pretty clear they want her to be played as a jungler in how they nerfd her stats that are needed to lane.

It has more to do with the fact that when they're viable in lane they can just infinitely sustain off of W's passive.

Never said I didn't have a problem with it, just said why it doesnt work anymore

They're not terrible when played bot due to their free W sustain and the proximity to two mark-able champions, but Kindred give up a lot of advantages that they get in the jungle by going botlane. Could you play Kindred bot? Sure. SHOULD you play Kindred bot? Maybe not.

I've played some of it and it's definitely viable if you're a good kindred player. Her sustain is unrivaled and she thrives with specific supports.

Alistar: His combo lets you toss on your E and get a few free auto's while they're CC'd. He adds even more sustain to the lane too. His displacement can be used to knock people out of your ult too.

Poppy: Poppy can also knock people out of your ult. She can deny escapes from ADC's like Lucian Vayne Ezreal Caitlyn Graves Tristana Corki. She brings some pretty outrageous CC as well, enough for you to melt someone before they can escape.

Morgana: Her black shield lets you play insanely aggressive, really letting you take advantage of the 2 second CD on your Q when W is active. Her bind lasts forever, more than enough time for you to do some serious damage. It leaves your lane pretty squishy though and should only be used in certain matchups.

It's not top tier but it works. She plays well against popular picks like Caitlyn Jhin Vayne Lucian Ezreal. It all comes down to how good your Kindred game is and if you can make up for the fact that you aren't really gonna be able to roam for passive stacks. You have to go 100% aggressive and pick up stacks from your lane opponent. You're going to want to take summoner 14 to help secure your passive stack, it's also really good to throw it on the enemy if you're both low HP in your ult. It will cut the heal they receive, ensuring that you win the duel.
