Riot please allow dodging with no penalties or another option...

So I'm ready to queue up. The screen finally pops up with the word choice of "select" or "decline". I hit accept ready to play some Riven top or Lucian adc. Wow, I'm the person banning so I get the option of where I want to go, but I was unaware of the troubles ahead. In the team chat one person calls for adc and jungle, but then another says "Mid or feed", whether it was joke no one knows. My nightmares have come true. The other three league players blow it out of proportion. One says "you should go hang yourself with that kind of attitude" and another says "I know how to deal with people like you, I'm sending a ticket to Riot. Enjoy your permaban". After these lines were written I could tell that this game would not be a fun one. Everyone except me now expects for the person who called "mid or feed" to support, as the last person deemed himself worthy of the mid lane. I was lucky enough to get my Riven top without backlash. It was now their turns to pick champs, the "mid or feed" guy instalocks Nidalee, while the other picks Syndra a few seconds later. The rest all say he is Nidalee support and our adc, who picked Ashe, says that the bot lane is already lost before the game started. This game was never going to start, not if I had anything to do with it. I hovered over the "X" in the top right hand corner, hoping that someone else would dodge so I could instantly queue up again, for if no one did then I would take the bullet. But that brave soul regardless of who they were did, they took the 5 or so minute penalty so that others would not have to endure 20+ toxic minutes.

TL;DR: There needs to be an option where if 3 or 4 out of the 5 people agree then queue is ended with no penalty. Or dodge penalty needs to be remove all together.

P.S. Sorry if this is hard to read, my grammar is not the best and I tried to make it as dramatic as possible.

If there were no dodge penalties in aram it would be impossible to ever start a match. I suppose people would be dodging every freaking matchmaking in normals too because they didnt get their favorite role. So pls no.

I agree though if there was voting option for this.

give people free dodges like the rerolls in aram, problem solved. how often they get them (I would say not often) is up to riot.

+1 teambuilder and Ranked queue should be the samething, Im in Silver I don't really have to deal with People who "Mid or feed" But Having teambuilder and ranked as the same thing would solve a lot of problems, and it would be more challenging because people would focus on teamcomps.

I'd rather have a option to vote on a player who would be "toxic" to the whole team (IE this guy saying mid or feed) if 3-4 votes go for kicking him it resets back to the Queue to find a new player.

  • being in a potentially disastrous game is OKAY
  • being able to avoid or mitigate loss from potentially disastrous game is NOT OKAY

How about disabling lobby chat for Ranked solo-queue. Everyone pick their champ for the roles that are open. For 2 player turns, first player locks in and the timer resets and then the second player locks in. This would avoid a lot of confusion at the expense of 1-2 minutes of extra time in picks/bans

Omg over and over. I'll be as nice as possible at this. I'm so sick of seeing these same threads.

THERE IS NO PENALTY TO DODGING OTHER THAN TIME.

If it takes you 100 wins to get from gold v to diamond v. Regardless of how many you dodge you still get there with 100 wins. When you dodge your mmr stays the same. You gain slightly more lp when you dodge more often and lose slightly less lp.

this is worng they need a team builder pre game and to remove chat there current systems are being openly abused and the players who will yield to the mid or feed guys like you and me are suffering the most

wanting to win atomically makes you toxic now
