Can we stop with the true damage
Kinda feel like posting a QQ thread about true damage and how insane it is for this game. I don't know why you guys feel that a champs kit is so bad that the only way they would be relevant is to give them damage that completely ignores all resistances. Above all though, I will never understand the point of putting %True damage on any champ to make up a majority of their damage.
Fiora:
- With 40% CDR and Q max, if she hits a single enemy with her Q it is reduced to <2 second codlin
- Since the vitals rotate out she can wait until she gets an easy one to hit and do %True damage
- After striking it she gets a movement speed boost that basically negates any chance to return damage
- Practically has a spell shield 2.0 that can reflect hard cc
- Can now build tanky and still do tons of damage
- Very nice AoE team heal
- Now has a slow and guaranteed crit multiplier
Vayne: (Don't even know where to start here)
- %True Damage every 3rd auto. Practically finishes every game with above 2.0 attack speed (procs it about every 1.5 seconds)
- Every other ADC has been nerfed and can no longer put up much of a challenge once Vayne gets 6 or Bork. No longer has to pay for her late game with a shit laning phase
- All the player needs to know how to do is position semi-decently
- Has a free control dash on <2 second cooldown
- Her core build is 1st item Bork and 3rd-4th item LW which are main items to kill tanks anyways
- Is one of the few ADCs with hard cc in their kit. (Should I mention that it can pin from 3/4th the lane)
- Invisibility on ult (inb4 pink ward or upgraded lens)
- Has no skill shots that she needs to land
- Whole kit is based around mobility and a bunch of free stats
- ULT ALSO EVEN GIVES MORE FREE STATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Garen:
- Lvl 6 ult on villain does around 350 true damage. Which is usually around half health of most carry champs
- Has pretty strong wave clear with spin to win
- Still has a fucking silence
- bonus movement speed
- 30% damage reduction for 6 seconds (thats like twice as long as old Khazix but Garen builds full tank anyways)
- His passive still regens almost more than Warmog's
- W passive makes him tankier while still building tank
Darius:
- You have somehow managed to make his early game laning phase better than it was pre-rework
- Their is now no reason to not try and lotto penta kills with his ult
- Has a pull that also slows plus another slow on W
- Bleed DoT is still as toxic as ever
- Free %Armor pen
- Please tell me where you got the drugs that made you guys think a 30% missing health heal on 3 second cooldown was a good idea (If I had those drugs I probably wouldn't be writing this right now)
I could probably mention a few other champs with true damage (Irelia, Olaf, Cho'gath, Yi) that possibly don't need it, but that is for another thread. I encourage comments and discussions as to why the community do or do not think these champs are OP.
P.S. -- Hotfixing is a terrible way of fixing things unless a champ is extremely over powered. No reason to buff Darius right now, could of at least waited till the next patch where we can see the changes you make in the patch notes
