If Youre Thinking About Main Top
Run. Leave. Dont do it! Youre going to waste your time maining the most useless lane untill you get to challenger tier. This lane is legit terrible, you get only 1 champ to get fed off of, junglers camp you for some reason, you have less roaming pressure, late game youre almost always useless, you have to split all the time in order to do anything, lastly it doesnt matter how fed you get if any other lane gets fed.
Main Adc/Mid/Jungle. Trust me, you dont want to main top lane.
Bot lane youre relevant 24/7 of the game, you do tons of damage, win lane = win game 90% of the time, double the kills, and more dragons due to being next to it.
Mid you have so much roaming potential, lot more carry potential, more damage than top laners, better wards to support team, and you can assist bot/jungle whenever they need it.
Jungle you can actually gank lanes and counter jungle. You dont have to worry about someone missing their smite on baron/dragon, dont have to worry about the jungler diving a tower at lvl 4 with no armor giving the enemy a free kill, and you can shut down enemy jungle from ganking any lanes if youre good enough.
TLDR;
Top lane has no impact other than to sit down, eat your doritos and split all game. If you group then youll lose slowly but surely. Only way you win as a top laner is if you get fed hard in top lane, which only happens in lower elos, then roam the rest of game. Roaming in higher elo wont work as much beens people tend to know youre roaming unless theyre legit just bad.
