Is ARAM balanced?
If it isn't, should Riot invest resources on balancing it?

Riot isn't going to balance a clown fiesta where people are forced to play random champions they don't even know.
The only "balance" they brought to aram was ruining Soraka's healing. Nosalt. .... Ok salt. Lots of it.

Why is this post getting downvotes? I wanted to open a discussion on ARAM, it's not even expressing an opinion! LOL
Because its silly to think ARAM will ever be balanced and it's a topic many people have brought up and got shutdown for.
Could you imagine ranked ARAM? Try balancing that, its not humanly possible.

Sure. Why not? It's something that people have been asking for for years.

If balance was the only consideration, it'd be exceedingly simple to achieve a decent level of balance by just enabling all champs.
With the random nature of ARAM, balancing on a per-match basis would require individually tweaking a number of champs. On the other hand, balancing over a series of matches (like for a ranked ladder) would only require that every player has an equal chance of pulling weak and strong champs.
no, because it was never designed to be balanced
Take a Blitzcrank, a Lux, and a katarina into aram. Then ask about balance.
