Darius is too strong against all melee champions

I've played a few games against him as well as watching people play against him and he is way to strong right now. Most melee champions can't do anything to him even if he is behind. He builds black cleaver and that's all he needs, he's doing serious levels of damage with just that and then goes full tank because what can anyone do to you if your doing 500-1000 true damage with your ult. Don't use the he isn't mobile excuse either, not being able to dash doesn't make him useless. He needs to be addressed.

"too strong against all melee champions" and " Most melee champions can't do anything to him even if he is behind" Yet he currently has a sub-50% winrate against Talon , Sejuani , MonkeyKing , Yorick , Kled , Riven , Trundle , Akali , Gangplank , Fiora , Pantheon , JarvanIV , Jax , Mordekaiser , Tryndamere , Olaf , Warwick , and Illaoi . Not to mention any other champions who can be played well into him with some skill and knowledge of his weaknesses.

non-darius players that main toplane above d1 will all tell you the same thing

Darius counters a specific archetype of melee champions that are called tanks he gets countered himself by every other melees that are mobile+deal tons of damage because he needs his target to not move to outduel them with heal+bonus damage+bonus stack to get his passive faster with his Q, and mobile melees will prevent him to do that

Thats nice sentiment, but not true at all. If I am a mobile champion 4 kills and levels ahead and he kills me with 800 true damage off of his ult that is broken. Darius and Fiora are the same bs level meant to fight tanks, but destroy squishies instead.

Darius is meant to fight whoever is in front of him, that's what we call a juggernaut

Nasus is similar, his E removes 40 armor for him and his team in AOE, and his ult deals %hp damage something like 90% if you stay close to him for all the duration

Not only that, Darius needs a couple of stacks to actually get 800 true damage.

I didn't say I did, I said he does 800+ true damage with an ult against melee champions who have to auto attack and can't burst while he gets you to bleed then stacks and uts you into nothing. That isn't going to just destroy tanks. If you wanted him to destroy only tanks you need to get ride of his slow. Tanks aren't fast so that slow is only for squishies.

Nasus is no where near Darius. Nasus hasn't been able to carry in 3 seasons. Darius has been cancer for a long time, I have played both and know both. Darius needs to have his damaged curved if he is only building black cleaver and pure tank afterwords.

yeah, he should fight squishies AND TANKS, that's what i said by everyone

however he still can't fight everyone, i agree i worded it poorly

darius dueling doesn't depend on if you're tanky or not like you said YOURSELF it depends on if the target is mobile or not

also, if you don't have 800 hp, then you're going to outduel him because he won't do damage if you dodge his Q

Renekton and darius have very similar skill set tbh. when you fight mord, obviously dont let him hit you with his 3rd q.

I agree, pretty much no other melee top lanner can beat him. His stats (damage, tankyness sustain) are way too high and the other champs can trade with him or all in him. If the enemy lanner mess up their cc skill (jax counter strike, fiora repost, irelia stun, riven any skill ) they are dead. All darius have to do is just lane a skill when the enemy gets close and set up the rest of his combo.
