By example, you are , you have stacked armor and your whole damage comes from it, then someone like appears, he has , and shreds 65% of your total armor, you will not only take extra damage, you will loose your damage output too because your damage scales with armor, wich means you will loose ALSO 65% of your scaling damage, and that sht is unfair for many champions that scale either with Armor or Magic Resist, I don't care about shreds, I just hope there is a way for the resistance shred to not have any influence over resistance scalings such as the ones on champs like , and items such as (shield scales with magic resist), and scale out of armor, and I feel it's damage should also scale from armor (but that is another point).

Resistances were great, then assassins built them up and annihilated everything, now resistances aren't great, also a lot of tanks were dealing a bit too much dmg so they had to reduce it, but I see your point, i like your references, but fuck Trump, and i'll raise you an upvote

The presidential race should be against Paul Ryan and Barack Obama, the two pretty much leaders of their respective parties and the two people who can have valid political argument rather than childish, schoolyard name calling and blame game.

For Rammus in particular I feel as though the damage his abilities will do should calculate before penetration. However thornmail dmg should be the way it is currently and reduced by Pen.

Thornmail damage sucks, it is countered by life steal, shreds, and magic resist, it needs love.

It is not countered by lifesteal. It IS the COUNTER to lifesteal...btw I am strictly talking rammus for these changes. MAYBE Malph lol

It is not a counter to life steal, it may be if you have +300 armor early game, yet it deals magic damage, a little bit of resistances and 10% life steal will always outheal it, unless you are some kind of crazy armor monster or have magic penetration, and don't get me wrong, when I play rammus I get armor penetration to the teeths +20, +8% in masteries, + Deathfire (applies on w), +Liandy (Applies on w).

It is it's made to counter that lifesteal. Without it no tank could EVER take an ADC with BT, BORTK. (Late Game)

My whole statement has been about Rammus and Malph.(as stated above)

This doesn't pertain to any other tanks.

That is why the item sucks, if it only works for 3 champs (Rammus, Malph and Taric) then it has not any worth of it's own.

In the other hand, ARMOR by itself is a counter to life steal, because reducing damage means they will steal less life.

Penetration (from Youmuu or Last Whisper) doesn't impact Rammus damage, only Reduction (a.k.a. shreds, like Black Cleaver or Corky gatling).

i would rather see less mechcanics that allow defensive stats to also scale as offensive ones. Don't see any reason to buff already low risk high reward gameplay

Because right now armor has been rendered almost pointless, at least magic resist is not in that ship, but how things are going we could just better remove armor from the game.

those champs have those win rates due to their kits and utility, it says nothing about the state of the armor as an stat, which is by now just an early and semi mid game stat, as it falls so quickly unless you get to stack at least like 700 armor.
