GG Riot at making its first 10k HP champion

With Chogath recent change and the addition to the newest retarded item in the market, Gargoyle Stoneplate, we now see what a 10k HP champion not only looks like, but can run through as well. That is, without a doubt, this patch's perma ban.

Yeah, I can see Cho Gath being permabanned.

That fucking monster dashing onto my entire team and locking us down with his engaging kit-...Ah wait.

Jet Sett1 votes

He doesn't dash he just walks up to your team and fucks you. What are you gonna do? Blow up the tank? Focus fire on a TANK? The guy builds a Rod of Ages and then builds every tank item he can gets his hands on, then proceeds to kill your squishies in one combo because they too have no mobility. His knockup is telegraphed but damn near impossible to avoid when he gets stacked, so you either stand 50 feet back or prepare yourself with a nice buttery sauce to help him digest you easier.

Or you could Dodge his incredibly telegraphed abilities and kite him.

Jet Sett1 votes

He has ONE telegraphed ability, and it's range increases later on to the point where it doesn't matter that it's telegraphed because he can place it right on you and there's no way you get out of it. Not every champ is some mobile kite machine, some champs get eaten by Cho'gath no matter what they do because knockup, slow, silence, R is too strong for them to handle.

Unless you are slowed you shouldn't get hit by the knockup. It's cast animation is painfully long and then the delay between it casting and actually landing is also really long.

Champions without mobility who don't consistently build move speed are easy prey to the knockup when he gets big. In fact I already stated that.

I dont see what his size has to do with it. his q radius doesnt get any bigger. the cast time does not go down. the delay between the cast time and the actual damage and knockup does not get reduced. Dodging a 17000 health cho q is the same as dodging one with 1 health.

shocker, tanks are op again

Cho is literally the only one to not be negatively affected by stoneplate. Doesn't make the entire class OP.

The damage reduction debuff lasts for only 4 seconds. It's not a major punishment for any tank.

I don't think this item will suddenly make tanks go to all five roles, but I do expect more tanks and harder-to-kill tanks.

The entire stoneplate effect only lasts for 4 seconds.

It's also kinda random. If I go into training and keep pressing it, the HP goes up. (Without CD)

play vayne. That's what I'm going to do as long as tanks are broken.

KogMaw also.

Kog probably does Vayne's job better tbh.

FiddlesOnTheRoof2 votes

In a vacuum, maybe. But Kog is much more team-reliant. Vayne, imo, is much more capable of doing it herself.

yeah that melee range true damage lul

other tanks are still better

LEEROY KLEDKINS2 votes

Also that Gargoyle item doesn't affect true damage so Cho gath benefit with this buff.

I ran a test on this in the sandbox mode after hearing about this from my friend who is a cho main. I was shocked that Riot just let true damage get away with this.

I just hope the fiora mains dont find out about this otherwise she is going to come to my bot lane and just shank my adc.

Jorencice2 votes

It is called TRUE damage. The whole point of it is nothing affects it

LEEROY KLEDKINS1 votes

Yeah but let's be real this news is gonna go past by so many people so I might as well just put it out there.

second technically Sion

Funkin Dunkin1 votes

Never seen a sion above 5k.

Ben Sharpio1 votes

plus, sion doesnt have true damage

RenownedWheat421 votes

5k is so easy to break with sion though.

if you really draw a game out to 40/50 minutes, you could get 10k health on cho without the stoneplate.

Alesya3691 votes

I could hit 10k hp Cho'gath with old patch without gargoyle stoneplate... now it will be 20k HP.

Automated Riven1 votes

For 4 seconds.

Alesya3691 votes

Only need it for R anyway.
