Kickstarter retirement plan for the Riot coder that secretly nerfs Lee Sin
This is the only thing I can think of that will get Lee Sin actually nerfed. Basically it will go like this:
- Riot coder sees this thread with the attached Kickstarter campaign.
- He hides some Lee Sin nerfs in the code for the next patch.
- He hides a few things in the code that will revert any fixes that get made to remove his Lee Sin nerfs.
- When Riot finds out he did this, he loses his job.
- He goes on unemployment and lives on his Kickstarter funds, and applies for another job if he needs to.
With as many players as League of Legends has (65 million), and how many support Lee Sin nerfs, this could be a reality. If half the players support Lee nerfs (I think it's higher), that's 32.5 million players. If 1% of the Lee nerf supporters donate $5 to the Kickstarter, that's 325k players each donating $5 -- $1,625,000. Depending on how old he is, where he lives, where he wants to live, what his assets are, etc., he may never have to work again after doing this.
Would anyone actually throw $5 (or more) on a Kickstarter to fund a terminated Riot employee after he stealth nerfs Lee Sin and locks his nerfs in with secret code?
