Rounding LP

Can we please add a feature where your LP will round to 100 if you're only a few away? It's extremely aggravating to have to play another game just for two or three LP. Plus, if you lose, now you have to play two more games to get back to 100 instead of one. I'm not asking for LP to round from 90 to 100. I'm talking, maybe, the 96-99 LP range, would round up to 100.

It's just very unhealthy and impractical for you to have to play a full game for 1/5ths worth of it's LP.

I feel like this would be a great change and would make Ranked healthier.

What's next 94 LP, 93 LP, 91 LP? If you introduce this eventually people will ask for the threshold to be lowered and so the cycle continues.

So much opposition lol. I'm simply asking for a small amount, no more than 3 or 4, LP to be rounded up to 100. It's honestly not that big of a change, and I doubt Riot would ever let 10 LP be rounded up, so that would not be something problematic.

I'm sure many share your opinion, and many share mine. I do believe this very small change would improve the quality of ranked, however. My stance does not change.

I'm sorry, what? I'm talking about the scenario in which you may end up with 99 LP, for example, and even though you're only 1 LP away from a game, you have to play and win another just to get promos. It's meaningless, and it's a bad function within the ranking system. Riot can definitely afford a 3-4 LP roundup without breaking the bank, lol.

would be better if you would just end up higher after the promo instead if you just needed a few LP to get to 100, so the rest of the LP you earned in that last game won't be wasted.

so if you win, you don't start at 0, but a little higher depending on the amount of LP that was "wasted" to get into the promo.

and if you lose, you will simply not lose as much LP.

This is actually a great suggestion. That would be, probably a better approach to this whole situation. So basically what you're saying, if I understand, is that the remaining LP that you gained from the game carries over into the new division? That would probably be more beneficial than just rounding up. I agree with this.
